Toyota Korea announced on the 18th that it will donate 100 million won to the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to assist with recovery efforts in flood-affected regions nationwide due to the recent torrential rains.

The funds will be used for the recovery of flood-affected areas and for emergency relief activities for the victims.

Mr. Manabu Konyama, President of Toyota Korea, expressed his deep condolences to the residents affected by the sudden heavy rains, saying, “I extend my heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the residents affected by the sudden downpour. I sincerely hope that the victims can return to their daily lives as soon as possible without further damage.”

Last March, Toyota Korea contributed 100 million won through the Hope Bridge National Disaster Relief Association to aid recovery efforts for regions in Gangwon and Gyeongbuk affected by wildfires. In addition, they have continuously supported various social issues, including donations for flood recovery efforts in 2020, support for medical personnel during the COVID-19 pandemic, and assistance for farmers affected by typhoons in 2019.
