Mercedes-Benz official dealer The Class Hyosung held a ceremony to present an ‘EQE’ vehicle to professional golfer Han Jin-sun (26, Kakao VX), who recorded a hole-in-one at the ‘Chris FNC 45th KLPGA Championship’.

On the 12th, the presentation ceremony was held at The Class Hyosung Dongtan showroom, attended by The Class Hyosung’s executive director and Han Jin-sun. Han achieved a dramatic hole-in-one during the first round of the 2023 season’s sixth event and first major tournament, the ‘Chris FNC 45th KLPGA Championship’, on the 17th hole in April. This marked Han’s third career hole-in-one.

The ‘EQE’ vehicle provided as a hole-in-one prize is the second luxury electric business sedan unveiled by Mercedes-EQ, following the luxurious EV sedan ‘EQS’.

Developed based on Mercedes-Benz’s dedicated electric vehicle architecture EVA2, it boasts an electric driving range of 471km (domestic certification standards) on a single charge and features cutting-edge technology and digital elements that satisfy all senses of the passengers, making it a gamechanger in the electric sedan market.

Receiving the hole-in-one vehicle, Han Jin-sun expressed, “It is meaningful to record a hole-in-one after extensive efforts, and receiving a luxury vehicle has doubled my joy.”

Meanwhile, The Class Hyosung continues to be active as the official automobile and hole-in-one partner of KLPGA, having previously awarded an ‘EQA 250’ vehicle to professional golfer Lee So-young, who achieved a hole-in-one at the ‘SK Shieldes∙SK Telecom Championship’ last November.

A representative from The Class Hyosung stated, “We wish for Han Jin-sun to harness the momentum from this hole-in-one to achieve great results in this year’s tournaments. We will also actively enhance our presence as a premium automotive brand and broaden communication with customers through our sponsorships of domestic golf tournaments.”
