From the 20th, Wooty is launching a friend invitation event for customers using the Wooty app. Both the inviter and the invitee will receive a 10,000 won taxi fare coupon. This initiative aims to actively support passengers who have yet to try Wooty without any burden.

Existing passengers wishing to participate in the event can send an invitation link via the ‘Invite Friends and Get Discounts’ option found in the ‘Account’ tab at the bottom of the Wooty app. Note that only passengers who have completed at least one ride through the Wooty app can invite friends.

Once the invited passenger completes their first ride, a notification message will be sent along with a ‘Friend Invitation Success 10,000 won Discount Coupon’ valid for 30 days. This coupon can be checked instantly through the ‘Wallet-Promotions’ menu in the ‘Account’ tab. To receive the notification message, the Wooty app notifications must be enabled in the mobile device’s app settings before participating in the event.

Invited passengers can click the invitation link and enter their mobile phone number to check their eligibility for the first ride coupon. If they meet the eligibility criteria, they can click the ‘Download App’ button on the confirmation page or download the app from the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. The ‘First Ride 10,000 won Discount Coupon’ is automatically issued as soon as the registration is completed. The coupon can also be confirmed in the promotions menu, and if it is not visible, they can click the invitation link again. The issued coupon is available for immediate use.

There is no limit to the number of friends you can invite, and for each invited friend who completes their first ride, a 10,000 won coupon will be issued to the inviter. However, new member registrations are limited to one per phone number.
