On the 18th, Hyundai Motor Company begins recruitment for its internship program ‘NextGen’, aimed at securing talented individuals from various fields in South Korea. This program is targeted at university and graduate students.

NextGen is an industry-focused internship program that allows applicants to participate in practical training during the summer and winter vacation periods.

Hyundai plans to assist interns in identifying their suitable career paths during the internship period and will conduct recruitment twice a year, in the first and second halves.

The areas being recruited this time include 14 positions across five sectors: research and development, production/manufacturing, design, business/planning, and management support.

Eligibility is for university and graduate students (including those on leave) who are expected to graduate in February 2024, with document submission from the 18th to the 31st.

Selected individuals will undergo a five-week internship starting in July, and those deemed exemplary will receive hiring benefits and will join the company in early 2024.

More details about the NextGen internship program can be found on the recruitment website.

Additionally, Hyundai will conduct the NextGen internship recruitment twice a year and will move the timing of their regular recruitment announcements for new hires, previously set for the 1st of odd-numbered months, to the 1st of March, June, September, and December, focusing on attracting outstanding talents.

A Hyundai representative stated, “We have revamped our internship and new hiring systems to allow applicants to predict their hiring timing and apply for positions that suit them,” adding, “We expect that with the newly introduced internship program, applicants can develop their job competencies even during their university years.”
