Starting April 4th (Tuesday), Hyundai Motor Company has expanded its ‘EV Care Service’, previously available only to corporate customers, to now include general customers.

The EV Care Service allows customers to request vehicle charging and inspections at a time and location of their choosing, with dedicated staff from the automobile maintenance specialist company Car123 Jasper coming to assist.

Service applications can be made through Hyundai’s official website and the integrated service application ‘My Hyundai’, with reservations and payments to be completed following subsequent instructions.

Hyundai introduced the EV Care Service last November specifically for corporate electric vehicle owners. With this expansion, not only Hyundai and Genesis vehicles but also other manufacturers’ electric vehicle customers will be able to utilize the service.

In detail, Hyundai’s vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) rapid charging technology will be employed to provide approximately 20kWh of power, enough to travel around 100 kilometers.

The service will also include windshield cleaning and vehicle inspections, with check-up items that encompass ▲ Washer fluid (including topping up if low) ▲ Brake oil ▲ Coolant ▲ Dashboard warning lights ▲ Tire wear and pressure.

The EV Care Service operates throughout Seoul, including weekends and public holidays, from 9 AM to 6 PM.

To celebrate the expanded operation of this program, Hyundai will offer the service free of charge for the first use to Hyundai and Genesis electric vehicle customers for two months, until May 31st (Wednesday).

Moreover, during the same period, welfare facilities for the disabled operating Hyundai and Genesis electric vehicles will also be able to utilize the service for free once a week as part of its social contribution activities.

A Hyundai representative stated, “We hope that with the EV Care Service, our customers will find it convenient to use electric vehicles. In the future, we aim to expand the service regions beyond Seoul to enhance the convenience for electric vehicle owners.”
