Polestar has made its debut at the premium goods section on the first floor of Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, as the first imported automobile brand. From the 14th of this month until May 14th, a new type of popup store, ‘2 on Tour,’ will showcase vehicles, offer test drives, and facilitate deliveries.

The ‘2 on Tour’ event is a popup store initiative by Polestar to bring products and brand experiences directly to customers. This event distinguishes itself from previous ones by extending the operation period to one month and providing almost all the services available at a Polestar Space, including vehicle delivery.

Lee Hyun-ki, General Manager of Polestar Korea, expressed pride in the brand’s reinforced identity as a luxury design brand through this new initiative of entering a department store’s premium goods section, which was traditionally considered exclusive to luxury brands. He noted, “With improved accessibility for customers residing in southern Seoul and Gyeonggi Province—where 38% of Polestar 2 buyers live—I hope many more customers will experience Polestar 2 through this event.”

The interior has been designed to evoke a sophisticated and minimalist atmosphere, similar to a Polestar Space. A Polestar 2 will be on display, allowing customers to fully experience the vehicle and brand through presentations by specialists. Additionally, three test drive vehicles will be available, and on-site test drives will be supported. Those who order or take delivery of a Polestar 2 from the Hyundai Department Store Pangyo during this period will receive gift certificates for the department store.

The Polestar exhibition space is located at Gate 2 of the premium goods section on the first floor of Hyundai Department Store Pangyo, operating from 10:30 AM to 8:00 PM on Mondays to Thursdays, and until 8:30 PM on Fridays to Sundays.

In the previous year, Polestar Korea hosted a total of 10 ‘2 on Tour’ events in eight major cities nationwide, including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Daejeon, Daegu, Busan, and Jeju, showcasing the Polestar 2 to around 2.8 million people. They facilitated over 46,000 customer consultations and offered over 1,100 hands-on test drive opportunities, receiving significant attention from consumers.
