The Ferrari Purosangue has won the Best Production Car award at the Car Design Awards 2023.
The Car Design Awards is a prestigious automotive design award established in 1984, hosted by the Italian magazine Auto & Design. Each year, a jury composed of 11 leading automotive magazine professionals from around the world selects projects that have significantly contributed to the advancement of automotive design. This year’s awards ceremony took place on April 17 as part of Milan Design Week at the ADI Design Museum.
The jury stated, “The Purosangue appears far more compact than it truly is due to its well-balanced proportions. Additionally, its aesthetic beauty and advanced door-opening system provide accessibility, passenger space, and convenience at class-leading levels. Undeniably, Ferrari stands out among high-end models of similar size.”
The team at Ferrari Styling Center, led by Flavio Manzoni, also won an award for Brand Design Language at the Car Design Awards 2023. The Ferrari design team was praised for achieving the highest levels of consistency and diversity across all vehicles produced under the brand’s official language.
Flavio Manzoni, Ferrari’s Chief Design Officer, emphasized that “this award will be a catalyst for every team member to fuel their passion and continuously seek new creative inspiration.”
