On the rainy day of the 18th, I visited the Kia Incheon flagship store. The Kia Incheon flagship store is the second flagship store following the one in Gangseo, Seoul, standing proudly between the old districts of Juan and Jemulpo, illuminating the area.

The two-story building with large glass windows displaying the new Kia logo showcased a fresh openness even in the rain. As soon as I entered through the main door, Kia’s flagship models greeted visitors on both sides. During my visit, I saw families closely inspecting the EV6 and engaging in serious discussions about the vehicle.

Although only a week has passed, the Incheon flagship store has gained significant attention from nearby residents. According to staff responsible for the docent tours, “more than 100 potential customers visit daily.” Furthermore, during weekends, the showroom is crowded with family units.

There is something unique about the Incheon flagship store. Price tags are not attached to the displayed vehicles. Instead, staff explained, “You can find out the options and prices of the displayed cars through the QR code on the windshield.”

At the Incheon flagship store, customers can do more than just view cars; they can immerse themselves in the brand experience. One feature is the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) experience. There is a 260-inch screen filling the wall, along with chairs and a small touchscreen monitor. The ADAS experience comes alive through animations that vibrate the seat, making the experience even more enjoyable. Customers can generate estimates through the touchscreen monitor facing the 260-inch screen. To the left of the screen, a color experience monitor showcases a range of stunning vehicle colors.

After selecting the perfect vehicle through the displayed cars, ADAS, estimates, and color experiences, you can receive consultations in the sales representative room.

On the second floor, the EV6 GT is showcased with a camping concept. Various car accessories are available for order. Additionally, the Incheon flagship store features a robot barista.

The robot barista takes customers’ orders and brews coffee. When there are no customer orders, the robot barista even dances and greets, showcasing its enthusiasm.

The Incheon flagship store has also prepared a test drive program for customers. There are 12 popular models, including the Sorento, Sportage, and Carnival, available for customer test drives.

The Incheon flagship store is ideally located facing the Dohwa IC of the Gyeongin Expressway, making it perfect for test drives. Due to this strategic location, various test drive programs are available, including night drives, family test drives, and hybrid test drives with both instructors and non-instructors.

Additionally, the Incheon flagship store features Kia’s first new car delivery space. Through the new car delivery zone, thorough quality inspections and vehicle explanations are provided to leave customers with lasting memories.

The Incheon flagship store showcases Kia’s concentrated capabilities and has presented a more advanced appearance compared to the existing Gangseo flagship store in Seoul. I’m curious to see how Kia will greet customers at their next flagship store.
