BMW Korea has launched the new 220i Active Tourer, the gasoline model of the new 2 Series Active Tourer, in the domestic market.
The BMW new 2 Series Active Tourer is a premium crossover model that emphasizes modern and sporty exterior design, a progressive interior, high-level practicality, as well as advanced convenience features and the latest connectivity technology.
The new 2 Series Active Tourer showcases sporty characteristics unique to modern crossovers, with a large BMW kidney grille and a sleek air intake at the front, complemented by a dynamic silhouette on the sides. The interior features the latest BMW curved display, and a floating armrest design minimizes physical buttons, enhancing spatial usability.
The trunk space is 470 liters by default, which can expand up to 1,455 liters when the rear seats are folded down. All models come equipped with power seats featuring lumbar massage functions to support not only daily activities but also various outdoor adventures and long journeys.
It includes advanced driver assistance systems such as Active Cruise Control, Driving Assistant Plus with lane departure warning, parking assistance with surround view, panoramic view, 3D view, and parking assistant plus with reverse assistance up to 50 meters following the entry path. BMW Digital Key Plus and smartphone integration features are standard on all trims, providing high convenience.
Additionally, the luxury trim includes high-end convenience features such as Harman Kardon HiFi speakers and sports seats for both the driver and front passenger.
The new 220i Active Tourer is powered by a BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder gasoline engine that delivers 204 horsepower and a maximum torque of 30.6 kg·m, paired with a 7-speed Steptronic dual-clutch automatic transmission, enabling a lively yet efficient driving experience. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds, with a combined fuel economy of 12.2 km per liter.
The price is set at 43.5 million won for the new 220i Active Tourer Advantage and 47 million won for the new 220i Active Tourer Luxury. (Prices include VAT, subject to a 3.5% individual consumption tax)
