Ford Korea launches the Ranger Raptor. This performance pickup truck demonstrates unwavering performance across diverse driving conditions, truly showcasing its prowess in off-road scenarios.

Built on a high-strength frame, the Ranger Raptor is powered by a 2.0L bi-turbo diesel engine paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission, delivering power instantly for a robust off-road experience. The Raptor boasts a fuel efficiency of 9.0 km/l (combined), with a maximum output of 210 horsepower and torque peaking at 51 kg∙m.

There are a total of 7 driving modes available, including Normal and Sport for on-road, and Baja, Rock Crawl, Sand, Mud/Ruts for specialized off-road and rugged terrain driving. Both Baja and Rock Crawl modes enhance the Raptor’s off-road capabilities, with Baja mode designed for high-speed off-road driving, while Rock Crawl is selected for severe inclines and rocky environments.

These various driving modes can be easily adjusted through a selectable drive mode dial, optimized for performance based on terrain and road conditions. Additionally, features like rear differential locking and paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel enhance driver-centric control during off-road adventures. The inclusion of Fox shock absorber suspension further supports stable off-road performance.

The design of the Ranger Raptor is based on the global truck design DNA, boasting a rugged yet practical interior and exterior that meets varying usage requirements. The front design features signature C-clamp headlights, the first matrix LEDs on the Ranger, and the grand FORD lettering exclusive to the Raptor.

The matrix LED headlights are equipped with dynamic bending light, glare-free high beams, and automatic dynamic leveling, providing exceptional lighting performance and ensuring safe illumination for both the driver and oncoming vehicles. Furthermore, various accessories such as all-weather mats and bonnet protectors allow for personalized styling options for Ranger owners.

Inspired by fighter jet cockpits, the seats in the Ranger Raptor are designed to securely protect the driver in any situation, enhanced with unique red stitching and premium soft-touch materials. A large 12-inch vertical touchscreen in the center stack enhances usability and convenience for drivers. Additionally, Bang & Olufsen audio systems provide rich sound for all passengers.

Through Ford’s signature SYNC4® system, various infotainment content can be accessed. Advanced driver assist systems including Active Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, Blind Spot Monitoring, and a front detection system supplemented by a 360-degree camera ensure consistent and safe driving across diverse environments.
