BMW Group Korea is launching a new vehicle warranty extension program, ‘BMW-MINI Warranty Plus Premium,’ which guarantees the most coverage items in the industry.

The BMW-MINI Warranty Plus Premium is not only about extending the manufacturer’s warranty but also features a customer care program that considers various driving scenarios, significantly reducing customers’ worries and burdens regarding vehicle maintenance.

The program includes the industry’s best mileage level with a warranty period of 5 years/300,000 km, complemented by a mobility program consisting of pickup & delivery, emergency roadside assistance, and accident towing services provided within the warranty period starting from the delivery date, allowing for more convenient vehicle management.

Add to that, a remarkable customer care program is also included. The new vehicle exchange program allows customers to exchange their vehicle for a new car of the same model and trim if an accident occurs where they are less than 50% at fault, and repair costs exceed 30% of the vehicle’s purchase price. This new car exchange program can be utilized once within two years from the date of enrollment, regardless of mileage, but does not cover total loss, theft, or parking accidents.

A total body care program is also offered to keep the vehicle’s exterior looking like new. If damage occurs in commonly mishandled areas such as bumpers, hoods, roofs, fenders, side mirrors, trunks, windshields, and tires, repairs or replacements can be made up to a limit of 3 million KRW within two years/40,000 km from the new car delivery date.

Additionally, during the first two years, no matter the mileage, if repairs are made through the personal vehicle insurance, up to 500,000 KRW may be covered per accident in deductible support, reducing the financial burden of repair costs (the deductible support limit is three times a year).

Furthermore, since this offering is guaranteed by BMW Group Korea, services will be provided at nationwide service centers, which is also advantageous for residual value when selling the used vehicle later on.

The BMW-MINI Warranty Plus Premium can only be subscribed to for new vehicles delivered within 90 days from authorized BMW Group Korea dealers. Enrollment can be done through any BMW-MINI service center nationwide, and BMW Financial Services will also launch financial products that allow enrollment (availability may vary by dealer).

In celebration of this launch, BMW Group Korea plans to offer participating customers a one-time airport service coupon (Incheon Airport or Gimhae Airport) along with a mobile fuel coupon through June.
