Hyundai Motors sponsors a dedicated bus for the Korea National Football Team to ensure they can perform at their best during matches.

On the 20th (Monday), at the Paju NFC (Football Team Training Center), Vice President Yoo Won-ha of the Domestic Business Division, National Football Team Manager Jurgen Klinsmann, KFA Vice President Lee Young-pyo, and other officials attended a vehicle handover ceremony, where a premium luxury bus, the ‘Universe’, was donated to the Korea Football Association.

The ‘Universe’ is a 29-seat bus equipped with a range of safety features including ▲Driver Attention Warning ▲Front Collision Prevention Assistance ▲Smart Cruise Control ▲Steering Haptic Feedback.

In particular, Hyundai Motors held this delivery ceremony on the first day of the national football team’s gathering since Klinsmann’s appointment as the new manager, adding significance to support the new beginning of Korean football.

Hyundai Motors has been a reliable partner of Korean football, providing ongoing financial and in-kind support for 25 years since 1999. This year, in addition to the dedicated bus, they plan to sponsor ‘Staria Cargo’ vehicles to help KFA staff transport various items and equipment safely during the team’s training and matches. Last year, they provided the Ioniq 5 as a work vehicle to support the KFA’s transition to eco-friendly mobility.

A representative from Hyundai Motors stated, “We hope for the national football team embarking on a new start to deliver impressive performances with the Universe, bringing much inspiration to the public” and added, “Hyundai Motors will continue to support efforts for the development of Korean football in the future.”
