Hyundai Motor Company revealed the list of the top 10 sales performers nationwide for 2022, announcing that Kim Gi-yang, the sales director from the Daejeon branch (54 years old), was crowned as the top-selling employee on the 9th (Thursday).

During the entire year of 2022, Sales Director Kim Gi-yang sold 392 vehicles, earning the honor of being Hyundai’s top sales employee for the second consecutive year.

With this achievement, Kim Gi-yang has accumulated a total of 5,765 vehicles sold since joining the company in October 1991.

Sales Director Kim commented, “I feel a sense of pride and achievement in reaching the number one sales spot nationally for the second year in a row. I made efforts to communicate with potential customers more frequently and in various ways.”

He continued, “While I achieved the top sales spot for the first time last year, I didn’t rest on my laurels. I have consistently studied the products to communicate with even more customers than before. In the future, I will strive to be a reliable supporter who can share joy and sorrow with customers genuinely.”

Following Sales Director Kim Gi-yang, the top sales achievers included ▲Sales Manager Lee Jeong-ho from the Seongdong branch with 383 units ▲Sales Director Choi Jin-seong from the Seodaemun Central branch with 299 units ▲Sales Manager Kim Joo-sun from the Uijeongbu branch with 299 units ▲Sales Manager Jeong In-cheol from the Gongneung branch with 298 units ▲Sales Manager Kwak Kyung-rok from the Suwon West branch with 297 units ▲Sales Manager Yoon Cheol-hee from the Bangbae branch with 294 units ▲Sales Manager Kwon Gil-joo from the Suwon branch with 293 units ▲Sales Manager Baek Jong-won from the Suwon Central branch with 287 units ▲Sales Director Lee Yang-kyun from the Anjung branch with 266 units, forming the top 10 sales performers.

The employees who made it to the top 10 list reflected that key factors for their notable sales performance amid various challenges last year included: ● Strategic sales approaches that identify the diverse needs of customers and suggest appropriate vehicle types ● Strengthening customer care services based on a customer-first mindset.
