Over 3,000 Nice Charger electric vehicle chargers nationwide will integrate the TMAP convenient payment service.

TMAP Mobility announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement with Nice Charger for ‘electric vehicle charging and new service development.’

Nice Charger is a brand that provides electric vehicle charging infrastructure construction and operation services, launched last year by Korea Electronic Finance, a leading unmanned device operation and management company in the country. It has applied its long experience from the unmanned automation device market, such as unmanned parking and kiosks, to the electric vehicle charging business.

Nice Charger has signed contracts for around 5,000 units, focusing on charging-demand locations such as parking lots and apartments managed by Korea Electronic Finance, and currently operates over 3,000 units to offer optimal charging services to electric vehicle users.

TMAP Mobility plans to advance the integration of the TMAP convenient payment service into all Nice Charger charging stations within the year, based on this agreement.

Earlier, at the end of 2021, a business agreement was signed with Nice Park, an unmanned parking lot brand operated by Korea Electronic Finance, regarding parking services. This collaboration allowed drivers to easily find Nice Park parking lots on TMAP, access real-time usage fee information, and utilize pre-settlement functions.

To strengthen synergy in the parking business, TMAP Mobility and Nice Charger will focus on capabilities for future services like ‘one-stop integrated payment for parking and charging.’ This is expected to allow electric vehicle drivers to pay for parking and electric vehicle charging services simultaneously using just one app.

Park Seo-ha, head of Future Mobility at TMAP Mobility, stated, “As a leading company proposing innovative technologies and services in the future mobility market, including electric vehicles and autonomous driving, we will strengthen our cooperation with Nice Charger to continuously enhance the electric vehicle charging service ecosystem.”

Baek Seung-yeop, head of the EV business division at Korea Electronic Finance, emphasized, “Based on the capabilities of Nice Group in payment, settlement, and unmanned device operation and management, we aim to be a charging service provider that contributes to improving the convenience of charging service users through collaboration with TMAP Mobility.”
