Audi Korea has launched the premium compact SUV, ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ and ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’, starting sales on the 19th.

The Audi Q2 boasts Audi’s signature simple yet stylish design combined with cutting-edge technology, making it a highly practical compact SUV that has gained affection from young customers. The newly launched ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ and ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’ are partial changes to the existing ‘Q2’ model, featuring a new headlight design and an increase in length by 17mm compared to the previous model, enriched with Audi’s emotional design details.

The ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ will be available in two trims: the base model and the premium variant. Both the ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ and ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’ feature a front-wheel-drive layout with a 2.0L diesel direct-injection turbocharged engine paired with a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission, offering nimble driving performance and excellent fuel efficiency rated as class one in the official standard.

Both models boast a 2.0L diesel direct-injection turbocharged (TDI) engine and a 7-speed S tronic automatic transmission, delivering high engine efficiency and excellent performance. They produce 150 horsepower and a maximum torque of 36.7 kg.m, with an acceleration time from 0 to 100 km/h in just 8.4 seconds, reaching a top speed of 216 km/h (safely restricted). The fuel economy is rated at a combined 16.7 km/l (city fuel economy: 15.5 km/l, highway economy: 18.5 km/l). Additionally, the ‘Audi Drive Select’ system enables drivers to choose a driving mode that suits their preferences, and the progressive steering responds instantly to increased steering angles, providing stability at high speeds as well as comfort at low speeds.

‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ showcases a sporty, long, and powerful design while emphasizing practicality and aesthetic appeal. It measures 4,215mm in length (based on the Q2 35 TDI Premium), which is about 17mm longer than the previous model, with a wheelbase of 2,600mm, a width of 1,795mm, and a height of 1,535mm. The S line version features Audi Q2’s 18-inch 5-arm graphite gray wheels. The ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’ includes the S Line exterior package, which features an S line radiator grille, S line bumpers, S line side skirts, and S line door sill plates, along with an S line diffuser and emblem.

‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ comes standard with LED headlights, while the ‘LED taillights’ equipped with dynamic turn signals enhance elegance and visibility, contributing to safer driving. The taillights also incorporate LED technology. If equipped with matrix LED headlights, dynamic turn signals are included. Dynamic light sequencing operates in the headlights and taillights when the vehicle is locked or unlocked.

The spacious interior of ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ accommodates five passengers, with a trunk capacity of 405 liters, expandable to 1,050 liters by folding down the rear seatbacks, allowing for ample storage. The ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’ features sport seats.

The ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ includes the latest 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit, making it easy to utilize personal smartphone features through the ‘Audi smartphone interface’, upgraded ‘MMI display’, ‘Pre Sense Front’, and a host of other safety and convenience technologies as standard. It also incorporates the Audi sound system (6 channels, 10 speakers, and 180 watts), Bluetooth functionality, and more.

The pricing for ‘The New Q2 35 TDI’ is set at 40,202,000 won, while the ‘The New Q2 35 TDI Premium’ is priced at 43,638,000 won. (Prices include VAT, based on individual consumption tax reduction standards).
