Hyundai Motor and Kia have been firmly recognized in the United States as the brands that provide the highest value to customers.

Hyundai and Kia proudly announced that they were awarded the title of the brand with the most awards by U.S. News & World Report with 7 awards across 12 different categories in the <2023 Best Customer Value Awards>.

Last year, in the <2022 Best Customer Value Awards>, Hyundai and Kia won 6 out of 11 categories, marking the second consecutive year of being the most awarded brands.

The Best Customer Value Award is given to vehicles that excel in quality and performance, as well as new and used vehicle prices and maintenance costs.

U.S. News & World Report informed that they evaluated the quality and value of each vehicle by considering elements like driving performance, ride comfort, safety, interior quality, technology and conveniences, connectivity, fuel efficiency, and cargo space, alongside a comprehensive analysis of total costs for vehicle maintenance over five years including repair costs, fuel costs, and insurance premiums, and the prices of currently traded used vehicles.

U.S. News & World Report is a weekly news magazine that began in 1948, well-known for its expert rankings across various sectors, and its rankings are widely cited across various media, holding significant influence in the U.S.

Hyundai’s models, including the Elantra Hybrid, Santa Fe, Palisade, and Kona, along with Kia’s K5, Rio, and Sportage Hybrid, were selected as the best vehicles in their respective categories, outperforming fierce competitors.

Additionally, the Honda Civic (compact car), Chevrolet Bolt (electric car), Mazda CX-5 (compact SUV), and Honda Odyssey (minivan) received awards in their categories.

In announcing the results of the Best Customer Value Awards, U.S. News & World Report explained: “The fact that Hyundai and Kia were selected as the best vehicles in a total of seven categories demonstrates that Hyundai Group’s quality continues to hold great value.”

A representative from Hyundai and Kia stated, “We are very pleased and honored to be recognized as the most awarded brand in the Best Customer Value Awards, and we will continue to make efforts to meet and exceed customer expectations with consistent product offerings.”

Recently, Hyundai and Kia have shown outstanding performance at various major automotive award ceremonies across the world, especially in advanced automotive markets such as North America and Europe.

The Hyundai Ioniq 5 has received multiple accolades, including ‘2022 World Car of the Year’, ‘2022 German Car of the Year’, and ‘2022 UK Car of the Year’, while the Kia EV6 has won numerous awards, including ‘2023 North American Car of the Year’, ‘2022 European Car of the Year’, and ‘2022 What Car? Awards Car of the Year’.
