Jeep has launched the ‘All-New Grand Cherokee’ and ‘All-New Grand Cherokee 4xe’ in the domestic market.

Continuing its 81-year legacy and heritage, the ‘Grand Cherokee’ has held the title of ‘Most Awarded SUV Ever’ with over 700 awards since the first generation was unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in 1992. The fifth generation completely redefines the ‘All-New Grand Cherokee’, expanding its line-up with the ‘All-New Grand Cherokee L’, which is the brand’s first model to feature three rows, and includes the five-seater ‘All-New Grand Cherokee’ and the PHEV powertrains of the ‘All-New Grand Cherokee 4xe’, creating the most diverse luxury SUV lineup.

Stellantis Korea President Jake Aumann stated, “The All-New Grand Cherokee and 4xe are filled with unmatched heritage, featuring the most luxurious exterior, an interior blending technology and beauty, a Quadra-Lift air suspension, and Jeep’s legendary 4×4 system that you can trust in any situation. I am confident that these two models will create a new wave in the Korean luxury SUV market.”

The sleek and sculpted exterior design of the All-New Grand Cherokee has evolved to create the most luxurious Grand Cherokee ever. A roofline that slopes down towards the rear enhances aerodynamic performance and efficiency while not compromising interior space. The lowered beltline and expanded glass areas allow more light into the interior and improve external visibility.

The wider and larger seven-slot grille, a symbol of Jeep, along with the newly designed front fascia, incorporates cutting-edge features. The elongated horizontal hood and bold stance provide visual strength, while the flexible design and new finishes complete the aerodynamic body style.

The two-row Grand Cherokee is 5mm wider and 5mm lower in height compared to the three-row Grand Cherokee L, with an overall length of 4,900mm (up to 5,010mm), making it 320mm shorter than the three-row variant.

The ‘All-New Grand Cherokee’ will be offered in two trims: Limited and Overland, while the plug-in hybrid model ‘All-New Grand Cherokee 4xe’ will come in Limited and Summit Reserve trims.

The luxurious next-generation interior of the All-New Grand Cherokee has evolved with handcrafted materials and modern convenience features. The front panel showcases a redesigned center stack for better driver accessibility and a 10.25-inch color cluster display. The T Map navigation system has been integrated into a 10.1-inch touchscreen display for enhanced customer convenience.

All trims come equipped with premium customizable LED lighting that can be set for both day and night.

The Overland and Summit Reserve trims feature multi-color ambient LED lighting to create a soft, comfortable, and luxurious atmosphere.

The All-New Grand Cherokee also provides top-notch connectivity experiences. For the first time in Jeep brand history, the integrated connected service ‘Jeep Connect’ allows real-time vehicle location tracking, various remote control systems, and an SOS system for emergencies, all offering a unique experience of connecting your vehicle with just a smartphone. Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity is also available, and the Summit Reserve trim features a wireless charging pad to enhance connectivity.

For Overland and Summit Reserve trims, the renowned Hi-Fi audio company ‘McIntosh’ has designed a sound system exclusively for the All-New Grand Cherokee, boasting 19 speakers, delivering the best sound in its class.

The 3.6L V6 gasoline engine in the two-row All-New Grand Cherokee delivers a powerful output of 286 horsepower (@6,400rpm) and a maximum torque of 35.1kg·m (@4,000rpm). An upgraded engine stop & start system is also standard. The 8-speed automatic transmission, harmoniously paired with the 3.6L engine, maximizes efficiency across all speed ranges, enhancing quietness, acceleration responsiveness, and overall efficiency.

The All-New Grand Cherokee 4xe is the first Grand Cherokee to offer a plug-in hybrid version. The 4xe powertrain system combines two electric motors, a 400V battery pack, a 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder engine, and an 8-speed automatic transmission to maximize efficiency and performance. Overall, the 4xe system provides 272 horsepower (202kW) and 40.8kg·m of torque, allowing for an all-electric range of up to 33km when fully charged. Additionally, it supports three E-Select modes: hybrid, electric, and e-save, tailored for scenarios like commuting, off-roading, and long-distance driving.

The 4×4 system applies either Quadra-Trac I or Quadra-Trac II depending on the trim and features a Select-Terrain system that allows selection of five different modes based on driving conditions. The Overland and Summit Reserve trims are equipped with class-leading Jeep Quadra-Lift air suspension featuring electronic semi-active damping to enhance ride stability.

The All-New Grand Cherokee boasts over 110 safety and convenience features that ensure a comfortable and secure driving experience befitting a premium luxury SUV. Features such as adaptive cruise control, pedestrian detection emergency braking, blind spot and rear cross-path monitoring systems, full-speed forward collision warning plus system, and active lane management system are standard, enhancing safety significantly.

Above the Overland trim, a 360-degree surround-view camera and a head-up display are additionally equipped, while the top trim, Summit Reserve, includes active driving assist, ParkSense parallel/perpendicular parking and exiting assistance (including braking), intersection collision prevention assistance, traffic sign recognition system, driver drowsiness detection system, and animal/person detection night vision camera system.
