Jaguar Land Rover Korea officially launches the all-new Range Rover Sport in the domestic market.

First introduced in 2005, the Range Rover Sport has established itself as the iconic sports luxury SUV for 17 years, built on instinctual feel, dynamism, and uncompromising performance. The all-new third-generation Range Rover Sport, fully redesigned after 10 years, showcases a perfect harmony of uncompromising performance, unique refinement, dynamic yet sophisticated design, and cutting-edge connectivity.

Jaguar Land Rover Korea plans to launch the all-new Range Rover Sport with advanced mild hybrid system I6 Ingenium gasoline and diesel engine models.

As part of Jaguar Land Rover’s electrification strategy, the Reimagine plan will release a plug-in hybrid model with an impressive electric driving range of up to 113 km (WLTP standards) in 2023, with plans for a fully electric model in the future.

The all-new Range Rover Sport has undergone an innovative evolution, culminating in a more dynamic and robust exterior design. The clean surfaces and short overhangs emphasize a dynamic stance, while identifiable profiles and stealth design details contribute to a high-quality design that creates an overwhelming atmosphere unique to the Range Rover Sport.

The signature daytime running lights of the all-new Range Rover Sport are equipped with digital LED headlights that house a total of 1.3 million individually controllable digital micro-mirror devices. This allows the vehicle to identify up to 16 objects in its path and intelligently block light to prevent dazzling other road users. The long LED rear lights feature surface LED technology for the first time in a production vehicle, providing bright and consistent light from any angle.

The vehicle features the latest laser spot welding technology and flush glazing technology, carefully designed to ensure a seamless connection between the side windows and body panels. This design achieves an impressive drag coefficient of 0.29Cd, improved by 15% compared to previous generation models.

The interior, adorned with premium materials, is designed around the driver, creating an immersive driving environment. Land Rover’s trademark command driving position provides exceptional visibility similar to that of a cockpit.

The all-new Range Rover Sport is built on Land Rover’s next-generation MLA-Flex (Modular Longitudinal Architecture-Flex) platform, boasting a torsional rigidity that is up to 35% improved over previous models at 33,000Nm/deg.

The all-new Range Rover Sport is equipped with a dynamic air suspension featuring the world’s first switchable volume air spring, delivering ultimate comfort and exceptional control. With a dual-chamber air design, the dynamic air suspension expands the suspension operating bandwidth, allowing for more stable cornering and agile driving as the pressure within the chamber increases during dynamic driving.

Infused with cutting-edge technology, the all-new Range Rover Sport provides unmatched performance. The Dynamic Response Pro feature delivers up to 1,400Nm of torque to each axle during sharp cornering, ensuring stable body control. The Adaptive Dynamics 2 technology continuously monitors road conditions at 500 times per second, managing active twin dampers to minimize unnecessary body movements for optimal ride comfort.

The all-new Range Rover Sport comes with four-wheel steering, allowing the rear axle to steer up to 7.3 degrees, enhancing stability during high-speed driving and agility at low speeds. Additionally, the electronically controlled active differential features a braking-based torque vectoring system that improves high-speed cornering stability while continuously monitoring torque balance and distribution for superior agility and traction.

A new Stormer Handling Pack option enhances the vehicle’s dynamic performance with features like the Dynamic Response Pro, four-wheel steering, electronically controlled active differential with torque vectoring system, and programmable settings.

The all-new Range Rover Sport showcases top-notch off-road performance in any situation. With Land Rover’s latest fully automatic Terrain Response System 2, it also offers an option for Adaptive Off-Road Cruise Control, which automatically analyzes the vehicle’s tilting, rolling, pitching, and yaw based on various algorithms and adjusts the optimal driving speed.

Powered by an efficient engine with a 48V MHEV system, the P360 model featuring the I6 Ingenium gasoline engine delivers a remarkable 360 horsepower with a peak torque of 51 kg.m, accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6 seconds. Meanwhile, the D300 model equipped with Land Rover’s powerful and efficient I6 Ingenium diesel engine boasts 300 horsepower, a peak torque of 66.3 kg.m, and achieves the same speed in just 6.6 seconds.

The all-new Range Rover Sport integrates a range of state-of-the-art technologies to offer all passengers an elevated sports luxury experience with high connectivity and a well-being environment. The next-generation air purification system equipped with PM2.5 filters and nano-X technology reduces various odors, bacteria, and allergens, maintaining a pleasant indoor air quality.

Land Rover’s robust electric vehicle architecture, EVA 2.0 (Electrical Vehicle Architecture), ensures exceptional connectivity. It supports SOTA (Software-Over-Air) updates for 63 electronic control modules, providing the latest innovative technologies and services.

For the first time in the model, the all-new Range Rover Sport is equipped with the Pivi Pro infotainment system, enhancing connectivity. With just two touches, 90% of the system’s functions can be accessed, and it comes with T-map navigation by T-map Mobility, providing high convenience for domestic customers.

Robin Colgan, CEO of Jaguar Land Rover Korea, stated, “The all-new Range Rover Sport is an innovative model redefining the sports luxury SUV segment with its aggressive yet sporty design and dynamic on-road handling. I am confident that the all-new Range Rover Sport, with its unique dynamics, all-terrain capabilities, and outstanding connectivity, will satisfy the discerning tastes of Korean customers more than any previous generation models.”

Jaguar Land Rover Korea is launching four trims of the all-new Range Rover Sport in the domestic market, with prices that include a five-year service plan: P360 Dynamic SE priced at 139,997,000 KRW, P360 Dynamic HSE and D300 Dynamic HSE at 150,670,000 KRW, and P360 Autobiography at 158,070,000 KRW.
