Genesis has officially started the sales of the ‘2023 GV60.’

The newly launched 2023 GV60 features enhanced specifications including high customer satisfaction levels as standard, along with new features that improve its overall value.

The 2023 GV60 now comes equipped with the innovative technology called Face Connect, which allows interaction between the driver and vehicle across all trims.

Face Connect recognizes the driver’s face, enabling the locking and unlocking of the vehicle’s doors without a key. This is activated by touching the door handle and then having the camera located near the B-pillar recognize the driver’s face.

Genesis has also improved customer convenience by standardizing the indoor V2L (Vehicle-to-Load) functionality, allowing external electronic devices to be powered using the vehicle’s battery, along with wireless updates for the battery management system.

Another highlight of this model is the foot lamp linked with the mood lamp, creating a natural and cozy atmosphere.

For performance models, a virtual gear shift function (VGS) provides a feeling as if the engine and transmission are engaged, enhancing the driving experience.

VGS generates a virtual shift sensation, shift sounds, and changes in RPM based on the driving force from the motor, allowing for deeper immersion and enjoyment while driving.

Additionally, the 2023 GV60 has applied styling covers to the rear calipers for a sportier image. (* The rear caliper styling cover is standard on performance models, while it can be applied on standard models with front mono-block brake options.)

The starting price for the 2023 GV60 is 64.93 million KRW for the standard rear-wheel model, 68.36 million KRW for the standard all-wheel model, and 74.06 million KRW for the performance model after tax benefits.

A Genesis representative stated, “This 2023 GV60 has enhanced its marketability so that more customers can experience innovative technologies that allow them to interact with the vehicle,” adding, “We will continue to provide differentiated sensations through the luxury electric vehicle GV60.”

Meanwhile, the Genesis GV60 achieved the highest rating of Top Safety Pick Plus (TSP+) from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in the United States last October and received a five-star rating from the European New Car Assessment Programme (Euro NCAP) in September, proving its outstanding safety levels.
