Hyundai Motor Company will launch Korea’s first mass-produced mobile office, the ‘Universe Mobile Office,’ on Monday, the 19th.

The Universe Mobile Office is a vehicle that reimagines Hyundai’s premium highway bus, Universe, into a workspace, allowing passengers to not only carry out various tasks while traveling but also enjoy a differentiated relaxation experience.

The interior of the Universe Mobile Office maximizes openness with a harmonious blend of curves and lines, featuring luxurious and practical design elements such as cordless blinds and bright-colored reinforced flooring, enhancing its elegance.

An optimal specification has been implemented within the vehicle to facilitate personal tasks and small group meetings, which is a distinctive feature of the Universe Mobile Office. It consists of personal workspaces, group collaboration areas, and storage spaces, each equipped with various functions tailored to their uses.

First, the personal work area is equipped with premium reclining seats, individual entertainment systems, wireless charging pads, side tables for work, and personal storage space, creating an environment where one can work comfortably while on the move.

The group collaboration space is designed with video conference systems, foldable meeting tables, and sofa seating to maximize collaboration efficiency.

Moreover, the storage space can be customized to meet the needs of the customer.

The Universe Mobile Office will be offered in various configurations, including a standard 10-passenger model, a 13-passenger multi-passenger variant, a 13-passenger model with an expanded workspace location at the front, and a 13-passenger mobility and collaboration model that adds two additional seats, allowing for diverse uses. (※ Total capacity includes the driver.)

The prices for the Universe Mobile Office are as follows: 10-passenger model is 585,320,000 KRW, 13-passenger multi-passenger model is 556,850,000 KRW, 13-passenger model with expanded work area is 564,300,000 KRW, and 13-passenger mobility and collaboration model is 530,600,000 KRW. (※ The price for the 10-passenger model includes a 3.5% consumption tax.)

A Hyundai official stated, “We developed the Universe Mobile Office to reflect the concept of mobility that creates a new, future-oriented space rather than a mere means of transportation. By leveraging the advantages of a spacious highway bus, we aim to provide customized mobility spaces for our customers and drive new changes in the bus business.”
