Audi Korea has launched the premium compact sports sedan, the ‘New S3 TFSI’, which will begin sales from the 23rd.
The ‘New S3 TFSI’ is a high-performance model that adds strong performance and dynamism, characteristic of Audi’s S models, to Audi’s flagship compact sedan, the ‘A3’. The ‘S’ in Audi’s high-performance lineup signifies ‘Sovereign Performance’, showcasing unique technology inherited from motorsport DNA, allowing for comfortable driving most of the time, while offering powerful and adventurous drives when desired.
The ‘New S3 TFSI’ is equipped with a 2.0L gasoline direct-injection turbocharged engine and a 7-speed S-tronic automatic transmission, generating a maximum output of 310 horsepower and peak torque of 40.79 kg.m. Furthermore, combined with Audi’s quattro all-wheel-drive system, it delivers dynamic driving performance. The New S3 TFSI reaches a top speed of 250 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds, with a combined fuel efficiency of 10.4 km per liter. Features of the ‘New S3 TFSI’ include the S3 badge on the front grille and bumper, with a black package applied to the front/rear bumpers, grille, and window molding, along with a panoramic sunroof that enhances sportiness. The side mirrors, equipped with folding, heating, and anti-glare functions, are finished in aluminum for a sharper look. At the rear, a diffuser exclusive to S models is complemented by four black-trimmed tailpipes and 19-inch 5-arm matte Titan trapezoidal-style wheels with red calipers, showcasing the dynamic presence of the ‘New Audi S3 TFSI’.
The ‘Matrix LED headlight’, featuring dynamic turn signals, boasts higher brightness and a wider visibility range compared to standard LEDs, while the ‘LED taillights’ with sequential LED lights emphasize elegant design and enhance visibility for safe driving.
The 3-spoke D-cut steering wheel with shift paddles and S sport seats emblazoned with the S emblem reflect Audi’s sporty and leading characteristics while providing a more comfortable and convenient driving environment. Additionally, features like black headlining, dark aluminum spectrum inlays, door entry lights, and ambient lighting (offering 30 color options) exude Audi’s distinctive high-quality sensory appeal.
The ‘New S3 TFSI’ comes standard with various safety and convenience systems, providing an advanced driving experience. It features a ‘front/rear parking assist system’ that shows distance to objects during parking, and ‘Park Assist’ that automatically steers during reverse or parallel parking for added convenience. Safety specifications include ‘Cruise Control’, lane departure warning, and ‘Side Assist’, which sends warning signals through the side mirrors when vehicles approach from the blind spot or rear. ‘Audi Pre Sense Front’ automatically brakes if the driver does not respond, ensuring safety for passengers and pedestrians alike.
Moreover, the ‘Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus’ and ‘MMI Navigation Plus’ with haptic feedback enable drivers to control all vehicle-related information intuitively and comprehensively. Through the ‘Audi Smartphone Interface’, drivers can directly access smartphone content, and it includes a B&O premium 3D sound system (16 channels, 15 speakers, 680 watts), Bluetooth, and wireless charging stations with front/rear USB ports.
The price of the ‘New Audi S3 TFSI’ is 59,639,000 KRW (including VAT, applicable to individual consumption tax reduction).
