Volvo Cars Korea has donated supplies worth 50 million KRW to enhance pet welfare in Seoul. The donated items include facilities needed for a dog playground expected to be completed next year and medical equipment required by the Seoul Animal Welfare Support Center.
The love for pets at Volvo Cars Korea has a long-standing history. The ‘Volvo Safe Seat’, designed with pet safety in mind, even won a Silver in the automotive accessories category at the ‘New York Product Design Awards 2022’.
CEO Lee Yoon-mo stated, “The ‘safety’ that Volvo Cars Korea speaks of extends beyond people to include pets as well, and we will continue to collaborate with Korean society to implement various social contribution activities for the happiness of pets in the future.”
