Ritec has launched the “Ritec Gorilla Truck Crane 22 Ton,” a model developed using its own technology, and has successfully delivered the first unit to a domestic construction machinery rental company.

The newly introduced “Ritec Gorilla Truck Crane 22 Ton” is a city-type model that minimizes the vehicle length and turning radius, showcasing excellent performance and robust lifting capacity in the confined spaces of urban construction sites. All major operational components are uniquely designed and developed with Ritec’s technology.

The Ritec Gorilla Truck Crane 22 Ton is a newly released model positioned between the existing 16-ton and 25-ton lineups, making it the first of its kind developed with Ritec’s proprietary technology. It boasts a maximum lifting capacity of 22 tons, a top travel speed of 90 km/h, and a maximum working radius of 30.3 meters, ensuring impressive operational efficiency and mobility, along with a 35m R-type boom typically used on 30-ton cranes that boosts the maximum working height to 37m.

Unlike existing truck cranes that utilize a standard sequential boom method, Ritec employs a unique non-sequential selectable boom method, patented as the only one in the country. This allows for operations suited to the weight of loads and site conditions, enhancing both operational stability and minimizing working time. Additionally, various options for a 2-stage + 3-5 stage linked selectable boom method make operations more convenient. An electronic control system with selectable control for each position, along with an overload prevention device that automatically controls and limits overloading and excessive operations, ensures safety against human and material accidents on site.

Chae Kyung-sun, CEO of Ritec, stated, “The newly launched 22-ton truck crane is a unique item developed with domestic technology that other companies do not possess. Years of experience in developing truck cranes have been encapsulated in this model, which boasts optimal operational efficiency and performance. We plan to focus on developing various products to ensure our truck cranes remain competitive on construction sites by always listening to customer feedback.”

Furthermore, Ritec has been producing over 90% of domestically sourced truck cranes and plans to strengthen sales targeted at construction machinery rental firms, cargo crane operators, and aerial work vehicle companies.

Established in 1994, Ritec has been producing various road management specialty vehicles, including road and tunnel cleaning vehicles, snow removal vehicles, and sewer dredging vehicles, and holds the number one market share in road micro-dust suction vehicles. In response to the recent trend toward environmental sustainability, Ritec has transitioned its existing diesel-based specialty vehicles to compressed natural gas and is already selling them. The company is also dedicated to developing driving technology that utilizes hydrogen fuel for medium and large specialty vehicles, along with electrical solutions for small specialty vehicles.
