Uti has announced that it is running vibrant user promotion events to celebrate the one-year anniversary of its integrated Uti app. This event has been organized to reward users who have consistently supported Uti services over the past year.

Starting from November 1st, Uti launched a total of four events, including ▲First Ride Promotion ▲Re-Ride Promotion ▲Uti KakaoTalk Channel Addition Event ▲Quiz Event.

The First Ride Promotion for new Uti users will run until the end of December and offers a discount of 5,000 won for three rides, with a maximum discount benefit of up to 15,000 won. The first ride discount voucher will be distributed to users who download the Uti app and sign up, and they can use it immediately after registering the promotion code ‘UtiFirstAnniversary’ on the Uti app before calling a vehicle.

In contrast, existing Uti customers can participate in the Re-Ride Promotion. This promotion will run throughout November, providing a discount of 11% for up to five rides, in line with the significance of the integrated app’s launch in November. Uti users can receive an 11% discount on taxi fares, up to a maximum of 10,000 won per ride, by registering the promotion code ‘UtiOneYear11’.

Additionally, events are set up through KakaoTalk and online platforms. Uti will offer a 2,000 won discount coupon to the first 50,000 passengers who add the Uti channel on KakaoTalk. A quiz event, with prizes worth up to 1 million won, will be held on Uti’s official website until the end of November. Among the participants, prizes will be awarded through a lottery, including a 1 million won Uti taxi gift certificate, a latest air purifier, a dinner course for two at a five-star hotel, Starbucks gift certificates, and Uti discount coupons of 50%.

Moreover, Uti shared “The Mobility Story of the Past Year,” detailing meaningful journeys taken by passengers and drivers, along with various statistics on its official website.

Since the launch of the integrated app until September, Uti has reportedly covered a distance of 58 million km, equivalent to 1,400 laps around the Earth. The driver who completed the most journeys in a day achieved a remarkable record of 16 trips, while Friday was noted as the day with the highest number of requests for Uti services. Additionally, the journey with the highest fare was recorded at 575,000 won, for a trip from Seoul to Busan.

Tom White, CEO of Uti, expressed, “I would like to thank our passengers and drivers who have supported Uti over the past year.” He continued, “Since the launch of the integrated app last November, we have continuously strived to provide a diverse and differentiated comprehensive mobility service. As we prepare for peak taxi demands during late night hours and the approaching year-end, we will explore various avenues to minimize inconveniences for passengers and enhance our services accordingly.”

Furthermore, Uti is committed to supporting passengers for a convenient and pleasant journey based on various convenient features. Uti reflects real-time traffic information from the TMap map service to provide more accurate estimated arrival times and fare predictions.

Moreover, with the introduction of a stopover function, passengers can now enjoy a smooth and uninterrupted journey to their final destination with a single ride request. Additionally, thanks to the integration of the Uti integrated app with the global Uber app, users do not need to install a separate app and can use Uber services worldwide. Based on this global competitiveness and convenience, the Uti integrated app has reportedly been used in approximately 650 cities worldwide as of September.
