Jeep Sales Champion Team Leader Lee Woo-jin.

The Jeep sales champion is Team Leader Lee Woo-jin, who has held this title since 2013. With annual sales figures between 350 and 400 units, he has become a legendary figure, selling nearly 5,000 vehicles over 16 years.

Recently, a YouTuber claiming to be the Jeep sales champion has bewildered industry insiders.

It is well-known in the industry that Team Leader Lee Woo-jin is the Jeep sales champion; however, someone else is asserting they hold that title.

In a popular YouTube program hosted by a famous celebrity, he was introduced as “the top sales king of imported cars across the nation.” Another famous YouTube channel with 1.5 million subscribers featured him with the title “How the national No.1 dealer with monthly sales of 1.5 billion won lives,” including the hashtag of sales king in the video. Recently, he posted on his channel, “I was the Jeep sales king, but I quit Jeep.” He emphasizes being the sales king, the sales monarch, and the national No. 1 dealer, making appearances across various channels, and has even ventured into giving lectures lately.

However, upon our investigation, it is confirmed that he is not the Jeep sales king. He is neither the national No. 1 dealer nor has he ever achieved that status. He only showed sales results sufficient to be recognized as an excellent salesperson within the brand.

Stellantis Korea, the brand’s parent company, stated regarding this issue, “He is not the sales king. However, it is correct that he was an excellent salesperson.” Each year, around ten excellent salespeople are selected separately from the sales king and awarded Master Club badges; the individual in question was recognized as “an excellent salesperson.” They also noted that “since the individual has left the Jeep dealership, there is no further action we can take regarding this matter.”

Team Leader Lee Woo-jin, the actual Jeep sales champion, expressed discomfort regarding inquiries from customers related to this issue. While some exaggeration is inevitable from a salesperson’s perspective, he finds it awkward when customers question, “I thought you were the sales king, who is the sales king? Was I deceived?”

We sent an email to him asking for the basis of his claim to be the Jeep sales king and what his sales performance is; however, as of the 10th, we have yet to receive a reply. He recently posted on his YouTube channel that he has left the Jeep dealership.
