In celebration of its 120th anniversary, Cadillac is launching the CSR campaign ‘Community Hero Season 2’ in partnership with the Cadillac Ambassador Group, known as ‘Team Cadillac.’

Since 2019, Cadillac has been conducting the ‘Community Hero’ campaign to express gratitude to firefighters who engage in heroic activities throughout society, as part of GM’s overarching vision of ‘3-ZERO’ (zero traffic accidents, zero emissions, and zero traffic jams). The campaign aims to realize the zero traffic accident value and provide substantial support.

As part of the new ‘Community Hero Season 2,’ all members of Team Cadillac, including athlete Kim Yeon-koung, who previously contributed to the donation initiative by selling 1,000 vehicle fire extinguishers last season, will participate.

Team Cadillac comprises elite sports stars who have proven themselves through continuous effort and passion in their respective fields. This includes volleyball world star Kim Yeon-koung, golf legend Park Se-ri, world-class women’s curling team ‘Team Kim,’ Olympic gold medalist short track speed skaters Choi Min-jung and Hwang Dae-heon, and racing driver Jeong Yi-cheol.

During the campaign, Cadillac will sell a special package limited to 120 units, which includes custom-made t-shirts featuring the signatures of Team Cadillac athletes and a 120th-anniversary magnet. The proceeds, combined with the accumulated revenue from Cadillac merchandise sales this year, will be donated to support firefighters’ activities. Additionally, customers who purchase the package will have a chance to win memorabilia signed by Team Cadillac stars.

Throughout the campaign duration, Cadillac will sequentially release special videos featuring 120th-anniversary congratulatory messages from Team Cadillac athletes, their reasons for participating in ‘Community Hero Season 2,’ and introductions to the specially meaningful t-shirts.

The special videos will be unveiled daily at 19:02, reflecting the year the brand was established—1902. Starting on November 21, Kim Yeon-koung will kick off the series, followed by Park Se-ri on the 22nd, Jeong Yi-cheol on the 23rd, Team Kim on the 24th, Hwang Dae-heon on the 25th, and Choi Min-jung on the 26th.

In the special video, Kim Yeon-koung expressed, “I know how difficult it is to maintain the top position in a field for a long time. I congratulate Cadillac for holding strong since 1902. It was heartwarming to express gratitude to firefighters through Community Hero Season 1, and I feel grateful for this meaningful opportunity to do so again.”
