Ssangyong Motors invited regional dealers from Central Europe to its Pyeongtaek factory to broaden its global sales.

This event took place over two days starting on the 21st, with participation from around 60 leading dealers from Germany and Belgium.

The dealers toured the production line and design center at the Pyeongtaek factory, sharing insights on the company’s current status, future strategic models, and design philosophies—laying out Ssangyong Motors’ development strategies for the time ahead.

Through meetings with officials from the overseas business and product departments, they exchanged views on local market strategies, product plans, and export strategies for various markets, discussing a mid-to-long-term vision for expanding global sales.

Ssangyong Motors also conducted a press conference and test drive event in the Torres del Paine National Park in southern Patagonia, South America, which inspired the name of the Torres model. This event gathered journalists from Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa along with local dealer representatives, marking a significant step towards expanding their global market presence.

Lee Yeon-jae, Senior Executive Vice President of Ssangyong Motors’ Overseas Business Division, remarked, “This is our first time inviting key dealers from major export countries to Pyeongtaek after concluding the corporate rehabilitation process. It was an opportunity to share about the company’s future development strategies. We aim to enhance our competitiveness in the overseas market by strengthening local marketing and brand awareness strategies for each market, while also fostering close cooperation and partnerships with our overseas networks to propel our global sales expansion.”
