The stylish hatchback ‘New Peugeot 308’ has been selected as a finalist for the ‘2023 Autobest Awards – Europe’s Best Value Car’ by European automotive journalists.
The Autobest Awards are held annually, where a jury composed of automotive journalists from 31 countries in Europe evaluates categories such as safety, convenience, technology, design, efficiency, and environmental impact to select the best value car for European consumers. It is one of the most prestigious awards in the European automotive market.
Launched at the end of 2021 with significant changes, the New 308 has already secured a position among the top 3 selling vehicles in Europe’s C-segment. It has won several accolades including ‘Car of the Year 2022’ chosen by female automotive journalists and the ‘2022 Red Dot Award – Automotive Design’, which is one of the three major design awards globally, along with numerous recognitions in various German and French automotive publications.
The New 308 embodies Peugeot’s new determination to target the upmarket, showcasing an attractive design that captures attention in the highly competitive automotive market. Its dynamic yet upscale exterior design achieves balanced body proportions while reducing air resistance through its long front hood.
