Lamborghini has unveiled the Urus S. Combining luxury with versatility, the Urus S expands the Urus lineup alongside the recently released Urus Performante model, which emphasizes the sporty charm of the super SUV.
Stephan Winkelmann, President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, stated, “The Urus is a sporty SUV that has proven its appeal for those who desire a Lamborghini for daily driving. The Urus S is specifically designed for customers seeking a model that combines powerful performance, luxury, and versatility, and it perfectly complements the newly released Urus Performante within the new lineup.” He went on to add, “The commercial success of the Urus, surpassing 20,000 units produced, demonstrates that the Urus is the original and timeless super SUV. The Urus S will enhance that reputation.”
The Urus S is powered by the same twin-turbo V8 engine as the Urus Performante, producing an impressive output of up to 666 horsepower. It boasts a class-leading weight-to-power ratio of 3.3 kg/CV. It accelerates from a standstill to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in a mere 12.5 seconds. Thanks to its potent braking system, it can come to a complete stop from 100 km/h in just 33.7 meters. The top speed is an astonishing 305 km/h, with peak torque of 86.7 kg.m available from 2,300 to 6,000 rpm. The modified exhaust system delivers an even clearer sound during startup and in each driving mode, reminding everyone that this super SUV is a true Lamborghini.
Equipped with adaptive air suspension, the Urus chassis maintains the thrill of super sports driving in Strada, Sport, Corsa, and Ego modes, while ensuring smooth handling over all kinds of surfaces. In off-road driving modes like Terra, Neve, and Sabia, it guarantees stable handling with immediate torque response and body balancing tailored to each mode’s specific requirements. Utilizing the same powertrain settings as the Urus Performante, the Urus S delivers optimal response and performance when needed, offering an elevated luxurious driving experience thanks to its finely-tuned chassis settings compared to the previous Urus. The Urus S stands as the ultimate lifestyle super SUV, exuding power and versatility on any road conditions.
The exterior design of the Urus S embodies a sporty yet luxurious lifestyle persona. With precisely and elaborately improved designs, the super SUV distinguishes itself in all environments. Additionally, various options for color trims, wheels, style packages, and special detail options enable customers to customize the SUV to their desired spectrum, from subtle sophistication to maximal sporty flair.
Customers of the Urus S can customize every detail of their vehicle’s interior and exterior to suit their preferences and lifestyle through Lamborghini’s bespoke customization program, Ad Personam.
The front bumper of the Urus S features a sleeker design and comes standard with a stainless steel skid plate finished in matte black. The front grille has been enhanced with black accents that add a distinctive touch to the Urus S’s personality. The new lightweight carbon fiber hood includes air intakes painted in matte black.
The newly styled rear bumper lends an elegant and aerodynamic look to the Urus S. The matte black underbody is complemented by the newly designed twin pipe exhaust made of brushed steel.
In addition, the interior of the Urus S features new color trims called Bi-Color Sportivo and Bi-Color Sophisticated, which incorporate stitching patterns from the Urus Performante. Both trims stylishly use contrasting dark leather with blue Leandro (blue) and Verde Aura (green) accents.
