Volvo Cars Korea’s team secured 2nd place in the bodywork category and 5th place in the general category at the ‘VISTA (Volvo International Service Training Award) 2022’ held at the company’s headquarters in Sweden last September.

This year marks the 24th occasion of the ‘VISTA’ program, which has been a global service competition under the auspices of Volvo’s headquarters since 1975. It is conducted for technicians and service employees from Volvo Cars in 70 countries worldwide. This biennial event aims to enhance the technological skills and service mindset among employees through written and practical competitions, ultimately improving customer satisfaction for Volvo car owners.

The 2022 VISTA World Championship saw participation from 40 national teams, each selected through their local competitions. The Korean team achieved commendable results, earning 2nd place overall in the bodywork category (H Motors Seongsu) and 5th place in the general category (Cheonha Motors, Yeongdeungpo Yangpyeong).

Soon Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “This is a moment when the hard work of our employees truly shines in their commitment to customer satisfaction,” and added, “Volvo Cars will continue to support the enhancement of our employees’ capabilities.”

In addition, Volvo Cars Korea achieved remarkable success by ranking first in both product satisfaction (TGR) and after-sales service satisfaction in the ‘2022 Automotive Planning Survey’ conducted by the automotive research company Consumer Insight, making it a double winner.

Moreover, the brand was recognized as the top European brand in both initial quality satisfaction and durability quality satisfaction. Thus, Volvo Cars has been established as the number one brand recognized by consumers in product excellence, quality, and customer service satisfaction.
