Volvo Cars Korea is recruiting participants for the ‘Volvo Ladies’ Salon’, which will share the values of Swedish lifestyle and provide the joy of learning starting from October 28.

This campaign aims to offer a special day for women in their 20s and 30s, referred to as ‘Gossipers’, and is based on the ‘salon culture’, where individuals gather to share their opinions on a common topic for self-development. The term ‘Gossip’ is a neologism combining ‘God’ and ‘Life’, meaning a life lived diligently with personal goals. Previously, Volvo Cars had launched the ‘Hideout Crew’ for men in their 30s and 40s to experience the Swedish lifestyle alongside the V60 Cross Country.

The first Volvo Ladies’ Salon will take place on November 12, featuring a one-point golf class for ‘golf beginners’, with a total of three sessions planned by the end of this year, each focusing on different themes. The program will include not only classes but also an introduction to Volvo’s values and networking opportunities with participants who share common interests. Additionally, various prizes will be awarded based on the results of an on-site SNS hashtag event (details to be announced later).

This event is open to any woman interested in Volvo Cars and the salon program, and applications can be submitted through the event page on the Volvo Lifestyle Shop website. Fifteen participants will be selected by lottery for each theme. Registrations for the first Volvo Ladies’ Salon will open at 10 AM on the 28th via the website. Detailed information about the program and upcoming themes can be found on the Volvo Lifestyle Shop website.

Lee Man-sik, General Manager of Sales and Marketing at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “I felt that the passion of 2030 women striving to enjoy a valuable life resonates with Volvo’s pursuit of the Swedish lifestyle. I hope this event will provide a time to experience the values of the Swedish lifestyle by sharing experiences and exchanging new ideas.”
