General Motors (GM) has newly opened a product showroom at its directly operated Seoul Service Center located in Yangpyeong-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul.

Consumers can now experience products from various GM brands including Cadillac, Chevrolet, and GMC all in one place, and enjoy a one-stop service that includes purchasing and maintenance.

The newly opened showroom is situated on the first floor of the GM directly operated Seoul Service Center, which began maintenance services in June after construction. Models on display include the Cadillac Lyriq and Escalade, Chevrolet Trax crossover, and GMC Sierra, with a customer consultation area available for visitors to receive product estimates and advice. Additionally, visitors to the showroom can take test drives of key models from each brand, including the Cadillac (Lyriq, Escalade, XT4, XT6), Chevrolet (Trax crossover, Colorado), and GMC (Sierra) through reservations on their respective brand websites (Chevrolet – https://www.chevrolet.co.kr, GMC – https://www.gmckorea.co.kr/, Cadillac – https://www.cadillac.co.kr/).

This year, Cadillac is rapidly expanding service centers and showrooms nationwide, and to celebrate the opening of the Seoul Service Center showroom, they will provide limited edition Cadillac reusable bags to visiting customers, among other plans to actively increase customer engagement through this space. Chevrolet will also offer Chevrolet-branded mugs and automatic wine openers to customers on a first-come, first-served basis.

Gustavo Colossi, Vice President of Sales, Service, and Marketing at GM Korea said, “The opening of the direct Seoul Service Center showroom is part of GM’s innovation in customer service based on its customer-first values. It will create a powerful brand experience space where customers can simultaneously experience GM’s diverse brands and enjoy a full range of services from product consultation, test drives to purchases, extending the functionality of the service center which was previously limited to maintenance services.”

With the establishment and operation of this showroom, the GM direct Seoul Service Center is now able to provide a one-stop brand experience that encompasses not only maintenance services but also product experience and sales services. The newly constructed service center building, completed in June, is located at the southern end of the Yanghwa Bridge in Seoul, and is the largest service center in the region with a site area of 3,970.60㎡ (1,201 pyeong) and a total floor area of 26,252.23㎡ (7,941 pyeong), spanning from underground 3 floors to above ground 8 floors. It is equipped with facilities and staff that can perform precise diagnostics and repair on approximately 100 vehicles daily.

In addition to the showroom and consultation space on the ground floor, the basement has parking space for over 180 vehicles, with maintenance and repair areas on the second to fourth floors, bodywork and painting areas on the fifth and sixth floors, and office spaces on the seventh and eighth floors. The service utilizes the latest equipment and also incorporates comfortable rest areas designed with customer convenience in mind and an efficient one-stop repair and reservation system to maximize customer convenience.

The address of the GM direct Seoul Service Center is 234 Seonyu-ro, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, and reservations can be made through the call center (1600-0992) or the respective brand websites, as well as through the KakaoTalk channel (search for “GM Korea Seoul Direct Service Center” in the KakaoTalk search bar) for quick information.

Meanwhile, GM Korea announced plans at the beginning of the year to strengthen its position in the domestic market by providing unique customer experiences in sales and service areas. In addition to the Seoul Service Center opened in July, a large-scale complex service center renovation is underway at the Dongseoul Service Center located in Seongsu-dong, which will also span 8 floors above ground and 4 floors underground.

‘At the showroom within the direct service center, purchases of GM’s entire brand vehicles including Cadillac are available.’
