Yoon Ga-hee Takes the Spotlight as the New Face of T-Money GO: Public Transport Benefits Go Plus

MZ icon and actress Yoon Ga-hee steps up as the model for ‘T-Money GO Public Transport Benefits Plus’ to boost public transport usage.

T-Money announced on the 3rd that they have selected actress Yoon Ga-hee as the official model for ‘T-Money GO’ to promote public transport activation. This initiative aims to inform more customers about the comprehensive mobility services centered on public transport, offered by T-Money GO, which boasts a cumulative membership of 11 million.

After being selected as the official model for T-Money GO, Yoon Ga-hee has risen to fame, recently winning the Best Newcomer Award for Female Entertainment at the < 청룡시리즈어워즈 >. In the advertisement, she displays her bright and refreshing charm, along with a friendly and kind impression, showcasing various benefits of T-Money GO. The ad emphasizes using public transport (subway, bus) along with various mobility options like electric bikes and scooters smartly through T-Money GO. This is delivered in relatable and engaging short videos that convey ‘T-Money GO’s unique public transport specialized benefits.’

To commemorate this collaboration, T-Money will run the ‘T-Money GO Public Transport Benefits Plus with Yoon Ga-hee’ promotion until October 31 (while supplies last). First, registering a public transport card with T-Money GO will provide popular snacks. Users registering their transportation cards (postpaid/prepaid/check) will receive gift icons for the top three popular snacks among the MZ generation, including Red Chicken Stir-Fried Noodles, Banana Milk, and Home Run Balls. Furthermore, they can also receive the ‘Lifetime Reward for T-Money GO Public Transport Users’. By registering a transport card in T-Money GO and using public transport at least three times a week, users can earn up to 2,000 KRW in monthly public transport rewards (lottery tickets given weekly) and up to 3,500 KRW in transfer rewards (when transferring between transport modes such as public transport ↔ express/intercity buses or taxis).

Please note: The public transport benefit is not provided to areas not serviced by T-Money postpaid cards. Additionally, benefits include exemptions on domestic flight ticketing fees when using airline services (automatic 2,000 KRW discount for round trip ticketing per person), mileage accumulation through various events, and a free initial fare for new Okada Taxi sign-ups with 10% GO mileage on payment amounts (limited to a maximum of 500M per transaction, available twice a month). These features collectively help users save significantly on transport costs.

Regarding this, Jung Dong-wook, Executive Director of T-Money’s Mobility Business Division, expressed, “We are pleased that actress Yoon Ga-hee, who resonates with the public through her diverse character and kind image, is the official model for T-Money GO. We will do our utmost for public transport activation to make T-Money GO’s unique ‘public transport centered integrated mobility service’ the new mobility trend,” he stated.

Meanwhile, T-Money GO is building an integrated mobility service centered on public transport by developing sustainable relationships within the transportation sector, emphasizing the trust established through collaboration.
