Chevrolet is hosting the ‘Chevrolet X Jeju Car Rental Test Drive Event,’ providing benefits for those traveling in Jeju with Chevrolet rental cars in collaboration with the Jeju rental car price comparison platform ‘Dolharupang.’
Unlike typical rentals, this event will feature higher trim models such as the Trax Crossover and Trailblazer RS, ACTIV. Customers participating in the event will have the opportunity to experience stylish vehicles that enhance driving pleasure.
Yoon Myung-ok, Executive Vice President and Head of Communications at GM Korea, stated, “We have prepared the ‘Chevrolet X Jeju Car Rental Test Drive Event’ to allow more customers to experience Chevrolet products while traveling in Jeju. We hope this event will be a great opportunity for customers to enjoy their trip and feel the charm of Chevrolet’s representative models, which have been receiving great responses in the global market.”
The ‘Chevrolet X Jeju Car Rental Test Drive Event’ can be applied for from September 10 (Tuesday) to September 22 (Sunday) through the events section on the Chevrolet website. The first 1,000 participants will receive a 50,000 KRW discount coupon applicable for renting Chevrolet event vehicles at Dolharupang during their Jeju trip. The eligible models include the 2023-2024 Chevrolet Trax Crossover and the New Trailblazer, with rental availability from October 1 (Tuesday) to November 30 (Saturday).
Additionally, Chevrolet is also running a social event called ‘Chevy Cut in Jeju.’ Participants are encouraged to upload photos and videos taken with Chevrolet vehicles in Jeju on their Instagram accounts with the mandatory hashtags (#ChevyCutJeju, #ChevroletJejuTestDrive, @chevroletkr). Fifty winners will be randomly selected to receive a Starbucks gift card worth 30,000 KRW. Winners will be notified individually via DM on the official Chevrolet Instagram account on December 11.
The Chevrolet Trax Crossover and New Trailblazer, available through this event, are global megahits in the CUV and traditional SUV categories. Last year, the Chevrolet Trax Crossover and New Trailblazer dominated the Korean automotive export rankings, securing the top two positions. In the first half of this year, they also surged to 1st and 3rd place in retail market share in the U.S. small SUV segment.
On the other hand, Chevrolet is offering various benefits through special promotions for Trax Crossover and New Trailblazer customers in September. Customers purchasing a Trax Crossover in September can choose financing options of up to 36 months at 4.5% interest, up to 60 months at 4.9%, or 72 months at 5.2% (with a 20% down payment). Furthermore, customers purchasing the 2025 New Trailblazer through the combo financing program will receive a cash support of 500,000 KRW along with financing options of up to 36 months at 5.9% or up to 72 months at 6.5% interest.
Moreover, Chevrolet is providing up to 1,000,000 KRW in cash support for customers who trade in their old Spark vehicles at Chevrolet dealerships when purchasing a Trax Crossover or New Trailblazer during September, including a 700,000 KRW cash support and up to 300,000 KRW worth of gift cards (designated used car dealerships). Existing Chevrolet (including all GM Daewoo models) vehicle owners will receive a 500,000 KRW benefit, while customers owning small cars with an engine size of 1,600cc or less will receive 200,000 KRW (no overlapping benefits apply).
