Harman International Korea is launching a joint marketing campaign for the 2024 professional baseball season with the KIA Tigers at their home stadium, Gwangju Kia Champions Field.
This collaboration, which started due to Harman’s connection with KIA, has been ongoing since 2015, showcasing various brand experience events that allow the audience at KIA Tigers home games to explore Harman’s audio brands.
This year, from August 6th (Tuesday) to August 22nd (Thursday), a space will be set up in the Kia Home Area on the 3rd floor of Gwangju Kia Champions Field where fans can experience the Harman Kardon brand audio alongside the Kia EV3 model, which is equipped with a premium car audio system. There will also be video presentations and product exhibitions, as well as opportunities to experience Harman Kardon products like the AURA STUDIO 4 and SOUND STICKS 4 Bluetooth speakers.
After experiencing the sound of the EV3 vehicle and Harman Kardon products, attendees can participate in an event in the exhibition zone by posting pictures featuring Harman Kardon videos and products with hashtags. They will have a chance to win a Harman Kardon Go Play 3 Bluetooth speaker through a lottery system. Winners will be individually notified via direct message from the official Harman Kardon Korea channel ‘@harmankardon_kr’ after the 22nd.
On August 22nd (Thursday), an ‘Harman Kardon MVP Day’ will be held, providing an opportunity to experience the newly adopted Harman Kardon premium car audio sound in the EV3 model. The audio experience for the EV3 model is scheduled to take place for about three hours starting from the time audiences can enter for the game, with Harman’s tuning experts from the Acoustic System Engineering (ASE) team demonstrating and explaining the sound and features of the Harman Kardon brand.
Fans participating in the EV3 sound listening program during ‘Harman Kardon MVP Day’ can post their impressions on Instagram with hashtags, and they will have a chance to win Harman Kardon Bluetooth speakers (Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8, AURA STUDIO 4) through a lottery. The winners will be announced during the match on the 22nd between the KIA Tigers and the Lotte Giants via the electronic scoreboard.
Additionally, further events will take place during the match to provide Harman Kardon brand products as prizes.
Meanwhile, during the ‘Harman Kardon MVP Day’, an award ceremony called ‘Harman Kardon MVP of the Year’ will be held before the game to honor three KIA Tigers players who have significantly contributed to the team’s winning percentage this season while also garnering popularity among fans, providing various entertainment options for home fans in Gwangju.
Following the 2nd generation All-New Kia Niro, the EV3 features a newly adopted Harman Kardon premium car audio sound system with eight speakers and an external amplifier, creating a refined and sophisticated audio environment that offers the ultimate premium listening experience for drivers and passengers alike.
The newly adopted Harman Kardon premium car audio sound system in the EV3 delivers a pure listening experience with smooth and clear frequency response characteristics, allowing extended listening periods without fatigue. Notably, it accurately expresses high, mid, and low frequency ranges without excess or deficiency, maintaining sound balance and detail at all volumes, further enhancing the joy of driving.
