‘911 Turbo 50th Anniversary Limited Edition Model’

Porsche has unveiled the ‘911 Turbo 50th Anniversary’ model to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the iconic 911 Turbo.

This limited edition 911 Turbo combines exceptional performance, top-notch materials, and unique design elements. It not only evokes the design cues of historic 911 Turbo models but also features timeless elegance and modern styling elements. When applying the Heritage Design Package option, the aesthetic appeal is further enhanced. The 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary model is based on the current 911 Turbo S and will be limited to just 1,974 units. Its starting price, including VAT and country-specific options, begins at 274,000 euros, with a planned launch in South Korea in mid-2025.

The exterior graphics are inspired by the historical livery of the Porsche 911 RSR Turbo, unveiled at the 1973 Frankfurt Motor Show, creating an impactful first impression through the exclusive Turbo Night color. Turbo Night is also used as a contrasting color for the rear engine cover inlay, fuel tank cap, Porsche crest, and Turbo 50 model logo. Other historical features include the anthracite-colored rear wing blades, rear apron, mirror bases, and air intake trims. The rear engine cover grill features a badge with the turbocharger icon and the years 1974-2024. Upon opening the door, an LED door projector casts a turbocharger image onto the ground beside the vehicle. The 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary model comes standard with Turbo Night-colored exclusive design wheels from the 911 Turbo S.

The interior of the 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary model also reflects the history of the Turbo. In homage to the early models of the Porsche 911 Turbo, the iconic Mackenzie tartan pattern adorns the central panel of the seat covers and the internal door panels. The additional contrasting elements of Turbo Night distinctly differentiate it from the 911 Turbo S series. The Turbo Night accents are found on the seat belts, controls, decorative stitching, the inlay trim strip in black leather, and the Porsche crest on the GT sports steering wheel. A door kick plate in black brushed aluminum features an illuminated Turbo 50 logo and is also embellished on the headrests of the Adaptive Sports Seats Plus and the left rear seat. An aluminum commemorative plaque above the glove box is engraved with the Turbo 50 logo and the unique limited edition number of the model. The A-pillar, sun visors, and roof lining feature a perforated pattern of Race Tex, while a unique Turbo 50 design and a Porsche design analog sub-second clock adorn the dashboard.

The Porsche 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary model is powered by a 3.7-liter boxer engine equipped with VTG twin turbochargers, producing a maximum output of 650 PS and a peak torque of 81.5 kg∙m. It has a curb weight of 1,640kg, equating to a weight-to-power ratio of 2.5kg/PS. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds and reaches 200 km/h in 8.9 seconds. The power is delivered to the wheels through an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission (PDK) and an electronically controlled rear differential lock with fully variable torque distribution, included as part of the Porsche Traction Management (PTM) system. The standard features include a sports exhaust system with black tailpipes, Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) sports suspension that is lowered by 10mm, a front axle lift system, and LED matrix headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus. The Porsche Ceramic Composite Brake (PCCB) system comes standard, with black-finished brake calipers.

The Heritage Design Package for the 50th Anniversary Turbo provides exclusive designs and features reminiscent of the 1970s 911 Turbo models, further emphasizing the history of the 911 Turbo 50th Anniversary model. The base color of the Heritage Design Package is Avocado Green Metallic, with standard 911 colors and paint-to-sample program colors also available. One of the components of the Heritage Design Package features high-quality white graphics with a satin finish, including vehicle numbers individually selectable between 0 to 99, the 50th Anniversary Turbo logo, and the Porsche logo. Customers seeking a minimalist design can choose to omit some or all of the graphic elements. The historic Porsche crest from 1964 is used on the front hood and the center caps of the Sport Classic wheels in a satin finish of brilliant silver and white. The rear features gold Turbo 50 and Porsche logos, and the interior is completed with leather materials and tartan design elements. Dashboard trim, glove box, and seat backrest inlays sport classic patterns. The steering wheel features the historic Porsche crest, while the console storage space bears an embossed Porsche Exclusive Manufacture logo. The dials of the instrument cluster and the Heritage Design Package’s Sport Chrono clock are finished in green.
