KG Mobility Launches Special Flood Damage Repair Service for Affected Customers

On the 8th, KG Mobility announced the implementation of a ‘Special Maintenance Service Campaign for Flood-Damaged Vehicles’ aimed at customers whose vehicles have sustained damage due to severe weather events such as heavy rainfall and typhoons.

This special maintenance campaign will offer support until the end of October, focusing on regions severely affected by heavy rain. The services include ▲ Free inspections for submerged vehicles ▲ Free exchange of consumable parts ▲ Engine start assistance for mildly flood-affected vehicles.

During this period, KGM will establish dedicated service teams in flood-affected areas, set up emergency contact systems, and coordinate with local government offices to prepare for immediate response in case of disaster. They are taking comprehensive measures to minimize damage, including the establishment of dedicated workshops.

Additionally, a special repair cost discount service will be offered, allowing a discount of 40% off repair costs (for vehicles not covered by comprehensive insurance) for vehicles that have been brought in through KGM’s nationwide network of over 320 service locations.

A KGM representative stated, “In the case of submerged vehicles, there can be severe damage to critical components such as electrical systems.” They strongly advised that vehicle owners should cut power and tow their vehicles out of flood-affected areas to ensure they receive maintenance at the appropriate service network.

For more information about the flood vehicle inspection service, customers can contact the customer service center at (080-500-5582).
