Volvo Cars Korea Launches Emergency Support Service for Flood-Damaged Vehicles

Volvo Cars Korea has announced that, with the onset of the rainy season, it will implement a special support service for vehicles damaged by flooding.

This special support service will be available from July 8 to August 2 at 39 official Volvo service centers nationwide. During the campaign period, customers who bring in flood-damaged vehicles can receive a complimentary inspection of the vehicle’s interior and exterior, engine compartment, and essential driving and safety components through specialized technicians.

In cases where paid repairs are necessary due to flood damage, a discount of 30% will be offered on the replacement parts needed, up to a maximum of 3 million Korean won. (Note: Cannot be combined with other promotions) Additionally, in case of emergencies, a 24/7 customer support service will provide vehicle towing and emergency recovery services.

To locate the official Volvo service centers participating in this service, customers can use the ‘Hey Volvo’ app, the official Volvo website, or the ‘Service by Volvo’ KakaoTalk channel. More detailed information can be obtained from the official Volvo service centers or customer service center (1588-1777).

Song Kyung-ran, Executive Director of Customer Service at Volvo Cars Korea, stated, “We have implemented this emergency support service to provide convenience to customers who have suffered from flood damage during the peak rainy season. Volvo Cars Korea will continue to do its best to offer the highest quality service.”

Meanwhile, Volvo Cars Korea is also conducting a ‘Service by Volvo Seasonal Campaign’, which allows customers to have their vehicles inspected in advance. This campaign, ongoing since July 8 at 39 official Volvo service centers, offers a ‘Pick By Volvo’ umbrella as a gift to all customers who complete repairs during the campaign period. (Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and the campaign may end early if supplies run out.)
