Ferrari Unveils Innovative Warranty Extensions for Hybrid Models

Ferrari has launched two new extended warranty programs specifically for its first plug-in hybrid (PHEV) vehicles. The eligible models include the SF90 Stradale, SF90 Spider, SF90 XX Stradale, SF90 XX Spider, 296 GTB, and 296 GTS.

The newly introduced “Warranty Extension Hybrid” and “Power Hybrid” programs are designed for customers who want to maintain the performance and excellence of their Ferrari hybrid sports cars for an extended period. These two services are available for purchase as packages that can be renewed for periods ranging from 2 to 4 years, and can be joined through official Ferrari network dealers regardless of the vehicle’s production year. Vehicles that have exceeded the manufacturer’s warranty of three years from the date of delivery can also enroll through a technical inspection carried out by a Ferrari dealer.

Ferrari’s PHEV vehicles already come with a 5-year warranty on hybrid components. By enrolling in the “Warranty Extension Hybrid” program, owners can receive an all-inclusive warranty extension service that covers the entire vehicle. Furthermore, if the warranty period is extended up to the 8th year, the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) can be replaced at no additional cost.

By enrolling in the “Power Hybrid” program, customers can extend the factory warranty period for all major powertrain components, including those related to the hybrid system, from the 8th year to the 16th year. In the 16th year, the high-voltage battery pack (HVB) can also be replaced without extra charge.

Both programs guarantee that, in the future, as battery technology develops, customers can upgrade to new state-of-the-art high-voltage battery packs (HVB) that deliver the same performance.

Like other warranty extension programs from Ferrari, these new programs are transferrable to the next owner.

The introduction of these two special services showcases Ferrari’s commitment to providing the utmost safety for its clients and highlights the brand’s leadership in after-sales programs.
