Unveiling the Zika 009: A New Electric MPV on the Horizon

The Zika 009, a large electric MPV, was spotted on the streets of Gangnam, Seoul, on the 16th. It is expected to be launched in the domestic market in the first half of next year. Zika is an electric vehicle brand under the Chinese Geely Automobile Group, and production of the sporty wagon Zika 001 began in 2021. The ‘Zika 009’ is a model that has been produced since 2023.

The Zika 009 measures 5,209 × 2,024 × 1,826 mm, making it larger than the Carnival (5,155 × 1,955 × 1,755 mm) but smaller than the Staria (5,255 × 1,955 × 2,000 mm). It features a 6-seater model configured with a 2+2+2 structure of independent seats. Additionally, it shares the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform used by related Geely brands Lotus Electra and Polestar 4, Polestar 5.

The Zika 009 is an all-wheel-drive vehicle equipped with motors in both the front and rear, showcasing a powerful total system output of 534 horsepower. It has a top speed of 190 km/h and can travel up to 700 km on a single charge according to Chinese standards.
