Lotus Korea Unveils Its First Official Service Center in Goyang

‘Lotus Cars Korea has opened the first Lotus service center in South Korea in Goyang, Gyeonggi Province.’

Lotus Cars Korea announced the opening of the country’s first certified Lotus service center in Goyang on the 30th, aimed at strengthening customer relations and providing premium services.

The Lotus service center is located at 40 Deuki-ro, Ilsanseo-gu, Goyang City. It boasts excellent accessibility as it is situated in the heart of Deuki-ro, where many imported car service centers are clustered. The facility covers a total area of 1,322.31 square meters (land area of 1,670 square meters) and is structured with three buildings across three floors. It is equipped to service Lotus internal combustion engine vehicles like the Emira, as well as electric models such as the Eletre and Emeya, and features two 200 kW ultra-fast chargers. Additionally, with five general work bays, one body shop work bay, a sanding booth, and a painting booth, it can handle up to 20 regular repairs and three accident repairs per day. A customer lounge has also been established, creating an environment where customers can experience the brand, including Lotus official goods, in comfort while waiting for their vehicles to be serviced.

Like the flagship Lotus showroom that introduced the new CI in London and Paris, this center has also implemented one of the few new CI points globally. Excluding China, it is the only Lotus service center in the Asia-Pacific region to apply the new CI, welcoming customers with its fresh appearance and is set to become the first center in Asia to receive Lotus Approved Body Shop certification by the end of this year.

Under the slogan ‘For The Drivers,’ the Lotus service center is fully prepared to begin operations this second half of the year. To cater to diverse customer needs, it will provide a one-stop service capable of handling not just routine maintenance but also repairs for accident-damaged vehicles. Furthermore, it has arranged a mobility service for distant customers and offers round-trip towing services in case of quality-related issues, preparing to provide services nationwide.

The center also stands out for its exceptional equipment and expanded talent. Advanced facilities and equipment from the UK headquarters, along with personnel qualified in repair and diagnosis through headquarters training, as well as resident electric vehicle specialists (High Voltage Technicians), ensure a more professional service. Moreover, the center is equipped with the latest diagnostic tools and service training for classic Lotus vehicles sold in Korea, enhancing convenience for current Lotus vehicle owners alongside the latest models.

Generous warranty periods per model are expected to appeal to consumers. The Emira, which continues the lineage of lightweight mid-engine sports cars like the Lotus Elise, Exige, and Evora, offers a striking warranty of 3 years/unlimited km in the sports car segment. Meanwhile, the first SUV and pure electric hypercar, the Eletre, presents a warranty of 5 years/150,000 km for standard components and 8 years/200,000 km for the battery and motor, instilling confidence in customers choosing to experience the newly introduced Lotus vehicles.

Meanwhile, Lotus Cars Korea drew public attention by showcasing the Emira and the Eletre on SBS’s ‘The Magic Star’ aired on the 20th. In particular, the magic performance by seven magicians surrounding the two cars harmonized well with the enchanting charm of the Emira and the Eletre.
