Experience the Great Outdoors: Lexus RX Outdoor Concept Unveiled

‘Lexus RX displayed at Connect Two with an outdoor concept’

Korea Toyota Motor announced on the 5th that it will hold a special exhibition of the ‘RX Outdoor Concept’, based on the Lexus RX 450h+, a luxury crossover model, at the Connect Two multicultural space until June 30.

This special exhibition has been organized to showcase an outdoor lifestyle that understands and enjoys nature while promoting a carbon-neutral society through electrification, under the concept of “complete relaxation in a quiet forest,” away from the busy urban life and noise.

The ‘RX Outdoor Concept’ is based on the plug-in hybrid model RX 450h+ and contributes to carbon neutrality by reducing CO2 emissions through hybrid and EV driving, while providing high-quality driving performance. Additionally, it is equipped with oversized all-terrain tires for rough outdoor driving and a rooftop tent, allowing for camping without needing to set up a separate tent.

To celebrate this special exhibition, Connect Two will hold various events until June 30. Reflecting the exhibition concept of serene forest camping, a special seating area will be set up in the camping zone where visitors can enjoy drinks and desserts, featuring two special menu items: organic ice cream dessert ‘Forest Path’ made with green peas from the Lexus Young Farmers’ Lee Jong-seok, and a green tea smoothie called ‘Green Leaf Smoothie’.

Lee Byung-jin, Vice President of Korea Toyota Motor, stated, “We prepared this special exhibition so that visitors can uniquely experience the carbon neutrality and diverse lifestyles pursued by Lexus,” and added, “We will continue to strive to allow customers to experience a more vibrant lifestyle through various exhibitions and events.”

Meanwhile, Connect Two operates a driving experience program where visitors can test drive Lexus’s latest electrified lineup exclusively for up to 6 hours from Thursday to Sunday each week. For more details, you can check on the Lexus website.
