Unlock Exciting Summer Benefits with KT Membership!

KT announced on the 9th that it will enhance its June membership benefits with a summer vacation theme ahead of the holiday season.

First, KT’s data-driven, personalized commerce platform ‘Madlen’ will sell new products from the camping brand Bamkel at special membership prices. KT customers can use their membership points to purchase Bamkel’s tumblers and dry bags at discounts of up to 50%.

The camping category is particularly popular among men in their 30s and 40s using Madlen. In fact, KT has launched over 30 camping products through Madlen over the past year, achieving cumulative sales of 10,000 units.

Madlen means ‘line benefits that come to the heart,’ and is KT’s exclusive membership commerce service that analyzes customer usage and preference data to provide personalized products. KT analyzes this data to recommend highly demanded products at essential times, such as birthdays and anniversaries, allowing customers to purchase items at a discount using their membership points.

The June ‘Dal.Dal.Benefits’ promotion will also take place from June 17 to 30, themed around summer vacations. ‘Dal.Dal.Benefits’ translates to ‘sweet benefits offered every month,’ meaning that from the 15th to the end of each month, all KT customers can access offers regardless of their membership tier.

KT’s Dal.Dal.Benefits offers three types of benefits: ‘Dal.Dal.Choice,’ where customers can select their preferred benefits; ‘Dal.Dal.Special,’ which allows customers to stack multiple partner benefits; and ‘Dal.Dal.Chance,’ which provides prizes through a lottery system.

For June, ‘Dal.Dal.Choice’ features discount deals from SSG.COM, CJ The Market, Baedal Minjok x Hosigi Dumari, Pizza Hut, Shake Shack, Dunkin’, Lotte Cinema, and Megabox, while ‘Dal.Dal.Special’ offers over 10 different discounts from travel brands like Lotte Rental Car, Shilla Duty-Free, Trip.com, and Seorak Waterpia, to food delivery services like Fresh Code, Meat Project, and Huh Dak. ‘Dal.Dal.Chance’ will include a raffle event for Starbucks mugs and family viewing tickets for Lotte Cinema.

June’s ‘Y-Pocha’ campaign will run until the 11th. Y-Pocha is a promotion for KT’s youth members, under 34, who can choose their preferred benefits for only 1 point. Y-Pocha benefits include coupons for CU ice cream, Domino’s Pizza, Kakao T, and Green Car, as well as chances to win items like admission to the Seoul Illustration Fair, Inside Out merchandise from Megabox, desk fans, Daiso coupons, and relax chairs. Particularly in June, there is an opportunity to register for the drawing class of the recognized illustrator ‘Dotoril Caricature.’

This June, KT will strengthen its already popular movie benefits, offering an additional 1,000 KRW discount for each person when booking tickets for Lotte Cinema and Megabox (up to four companions, limited to the first 50,000 customers). What previously was a monthly discount three times will now be expanded to daily discounts of one time per day. The discounted ticket prices will drop from 11,000 KRW to 9,000 KRW on weekdays and 10,000 KRW on weekends, making them more affordable.

Lee Byeong-moo of KT’s Customer Experience Innovation Division stated, “We have prepared a variety of benefits for KT customers to enjoy during the summer vacation season,” and added, “We plan to continuously identify the partner brands that customers prefer the most using big data from membership usage and expand new brands that are expected to have high satisfaction.”
