Chabot Motors, the official importer of INEOS Automotive in Korea, held a special event on the 13th in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong, where they delivered the first INEOS Grenadier to CEO Jeong Byung-gil of the camping brand Minimal Works.
CEO Jeong Byung-gil stated, “While searching for a classic off-road vehicle that stands out from the typical urban SUVs, I was captivated by the Grenadier’s pure off-road performance and classic design, which made me choose it.” He further added, “Unlike purchasing from a traditional dealership, I found it extremely convenient to directly select and pay for numerous options and accessories for both the interior and exterior online.”
Chabot Motors CEO Jeong Jin-gu mentioned, “Since the pre-orders began in July of last year, we have seen an overwhelming level of interest. Thanks to the support from the headquarters of INEOS Automotive, we successfully delivered the Grenadier to our customers. We will do our utmost to ensure smooth deliveries for the customers who have been waiting for months.” He also expressed plans for community activities such as off-road feature briefings and self-repair training to strengthen communication with customers, stating, “We will actively support our customers so they can enjoy the INEOS Grenadier even more.”
The Grenadier, born from the vision of INEOS Group Chairman Jim Ratcliffe, combines the robust British spirit and design with the meticulous engineering of Germany, featuring a proven BMW 3.0-liter inline-six engine, a ladder-frame chassis, an all-wheel-drive system, up to three locking differentials, and solid beam axles.
The Grenadier lineup starts with a station wagon that serves as a blank canvas, allowing customers to customize it according to their specific requirements. It delivers the comfort, refinement, and standard features that today’s drivers expect. The starting price for the Grenadier station wagon in Korea is 100,990,000 KRW.
In Korea, five different trims of the INEOS Grenadier are available: the 5-seater Grenadier station wagon, the Grenadier Trialmaster Edition, the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition, the Grenadier Fieldmaster Edition with Rough Pack, and the Grenadier Korea Pack.
