KG Mobility Accelerates Global Expansion with Launch in New Zealand and Paraguay

‘KG Mobility Launches in New Zealand’

KG Mobility is intensifying its efforts to penetrate global markets, focusing on launching new vehicles in the Asia-Pacific and Latin America regions, including New Zealand and Paraguay, along with strengthening local marketing initiatives.

From June 12 to 15 (local time), KGM participated in New Zealand’s largest agricultural fair held near Mystery Creek in Hamilton, showcasing models such as the Torres, Torres EVX, Rexton, Rexton Sports, and Tivoli. The event allowed KGM to promote its brand through product demonstrations to visitors.

The New Zealand Agricultural Fair sees participation from over 1,000 companies annually, attracting more than 100,000 visitors. It is the largest agricultural exhibition in the Southern Hemisphere and serves as a business platform where companies from various sectors, including telecommunications, IT, and electronics, showcase their offerings.

In March, KGM invited local dealers and reporters to test drive the Torres and Torres EVX, launching the KGM brand in the New Zealand market. The participation in the agricultural fair marks a significant step in introducing the KGM brand to consumers, aligning with the launch of new models, strengthening cooperation with local dealerships, and implementing various aggressive marketing strategies to boost sales.

Furthermore, KGM has also embarked on expanding exports with the launch of the Torres in the Paraguayan market, reintroducing the KGM brand.

The launch event held on June 11 (local time) at a local dealership showroom in Asunción, Paraguay, was attended by over 200 representatives from local dealerships and the press.

Participants expressed great satisfaction with the Torres, which has received acclaim both domestically and internationally, acknowledging its product value, as well as with the Rexton and Rexton Sports that were showcased alongside it.

While the market for new cars in Paraguay has yet to experience significant growth, the SUV sales account for 48% (as of the first half of 2023), indicating a market with considerable growth potential for KGM. They plan to commence the sales of the Torres following this launch event.

A KGM representative stated, “Since the launch of the Torres EVX in Turkey in March, we have been on an upward trend, with cumulative exports through May exceeding the growth seen in 2023 by 26%, which marked our highest performance in nine years. We will continue to enhance our global sales through new product launches in overseas markets, targeting emerging markets, strengthening cooperation with local dealers, and expanding our aggressive marketing strategies.”
