BYD Secures Its Place Among the World’s Top 10 Automotive Brands for Two Consecutive Years

BYD’s brand value is estimated at 13.85 trillion won.

According to the recent report titled ‘2024 Kantar BrandZ Most Valuable Global Brands’ published by Kantar, a global marketing data and analytics company, BYD’s brand value is assessed at approximately $10.54 billion (about 13.85 trillion won), placing it among the top 10 global automotive brands for the second consecutive year.

BYD is a global company that has established a worldwide presence in four main industrial sectors: automotive, rail, new energy, and electronics. In 2023, it sold over 3.02 million eco-friendly vehicles, with exports increasing by 334% compared to the previous year. To date, BYD has sold more than 7.6 million eco-friendly vehicles (NEVs).

In addition, BYD introduced its fifth-generation DM (Dual Mode) PHEV technology this year, showcasing world-class performance. It is expanding its reputation as a respected global brand by being an official partner of the ‘UEFA Euro 2024’ and a regional partner of ‘Copa America 2024.’ Furthermore, based on its development philosophy that prioritizes technology and innovation, BYD is stepping up the launch of high-quality, high-performance eco-friendly vehicles to provide a greener and smarter mobility experience worldwide.
