Porsche’s official dealer Autostadt and the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation held a donation agreement ceremony on the 14th at Hanwha Eagles Park.

The event was attended by Ryu Hyun-jin, pitcher and chairman of the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation, and CEO Lee Kwang-ho of Autostadt.

Through this agreement, for every victory Ryu Hyun-jin secures during the ‘2024 Shinhan SOL Bank KBO League’ season, both Autostadt and Ryu Hyun-jin will donate 1 million won each, totaling 2 million won to the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation.

Post-season, the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation plans to select financially disadvantaged youth scholarship recipients and provide scholarships of up to 30 million won.

CEO Lee expressed, “We are thrilled to participate in this charitable contribution alongside Ryu Hyun-jin for youth facing financial difficulties, and I look forward to supporting him for a successful season while continuing various charitable activities.”

He also added, “As Porsche is a unique sports car brand worldwide, our role is not only sales but also helping people realize their dreams with Porsche. This aligns perfectly with the Ryu Hyun-jin Foundation’s purpose, supporting young people, who are the hope for the future, in preserving and pursuing their dreams.”

Additionally, Ryu Hyun-jin has been selected as the second ambassador for the ‘Special Companionship Program’ at Autostadt and will receive a Porsche electric vehicle, the Taycan.

He will serve to promote the Porsche brand and vehicles in both public appearances and daily life.

In April, Autostadt appointed the legendary “national hitter” Lee Seung-yup, manager of the Doosan Bears, as its first ambassador.

Operating Porsche showrooms, certified used car centers, and service centers in Daejeon, Daegu, Ilsan, and Seoul—locations near the Hanwha Eagles—Autostadt has established itself as Korea’s second-largest Porsche dealer.

Through this agreement, Autostadt plans to continue diverse activities fulfilling its social responsibility and promoting a symbiotic relationship with the community.
