Additionally, all customers participating in the test drive event will be entered into a lottery for hotel accommodation vouchers and Renault de Original merchandise.

Set to launch this autumn, the new Renault Grand Koleos embodies Renault’s core value of ‘a car to live with (Voiture à vivre)’ for both drivers and passengers. The top-tier trim ‘Esprit Alpine’ inspired by the authentic sports car brand Alpine within the Renault Group is also being newly introduced to the domestic market.

The Grand Koleos boasts a vehicle length of 4,780mm and a segment-leading wheelbase of 2,820mm, providing ample second-row space and the longest knee room in its class at 320mm. Built on the CMA platform, 18% of the vehicle’s structure consists of ultra-high-strength ‘Hot Press Forming (HPF)’ components, ensuring excellent safety. Furthermore, it incorporates up to 31 advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and features ‘Active Driver Assist’, a Level 2 autonomous driving technology, as standard across all trims.

The Grand Koleos will be available in two powertrain options: hybrid and gasoline. The new version of the E-Tech hybrid system features the highest-capacity battery in its class (1.64kWh) combined with a hybrid-exclusive 1.5-liter gasoline turbo engine and a multi-mode automatic transmission. The system delivers a maximum output of 245 horsepower, placing it at the top of its class. The gasoline model offers a dynamic driving experience through its 2.0-liter turbo direct injection engine (211 horsepower / maximum torque 33.1kg.m) paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT). The Esprit Alpine trim of the gasoline model is available in both front-wheel drive (2WD) and four-wheel drive (4WD) versions.

Equipped with the ‘openR Panorama Screen’, the Grand Koleos is the first domestic model to extend the display to the passenger side. A total of three 12.3-inch screens are seamlessly integrated. The passenger can independently enjoy services by simply connecting Bluetooth earbuds. It provides access to cinema OTT services like Disney Plus and Tving, as well as YouTube, SNS, and FLO music streaming services through the Naver ‘Whale’ web browser. It also includes real-time TMAP navigation and a 25.6-inch augmented reality head-up display (HUD).

The Grand Koleos features a premium BOSE® surround audio system and active noise-cancellation technology. It also offers a ‘3-Zone’ independent full-auto air conditioning system, an after-blow system, and an automatic hazardous gas shut-off system. Renault Korea will provide customers with 5G data for infotainment and connectivity services utilizing the openR Panorama Screen, OTT, and music streaming services for free for five years (excessive data usage may restrict access). Remote electronic system updates via FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) will be provided for free for life.

‘Scenic E-TECH Electric’

The Renault ’Scenic E-Tech Electric’ applies the electric vehicle platform ‘AmpR Medium’, launching as a 100% pure family electric vehicle in the European market in early 2024. Equipped with a battery capacity of 87kWh, it can drive up to 625km on a single charge (WLTP standard) and delivers a maximum output of 160kW (220ps) and maximum torque of 300Nm.

The wheelbase of the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric is 2,785mm, with very short front and rear overhangs, and the wheels are positioned close to the vehicle’s corners. The front of the vehicle features the distinct new Lozenge emblem and Renault’s new signature headlamp pattern, emphasizing the brand image and expressing a strong and robust personality. The unique rhomboid pattern on the front and the headlights at the top of the grille present a glamorous high-tech effect. The rear’s two lights are designed in a shape that resembles arrows facing each other, creating an impression of a wider body.

Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric offers excellent space and comfort for both drivers and passengers, with unique proportions measuring 4,470mm in length, 1,864mm in width, and 1,571mm in height. Notably, Scenic E-Tech Electric features a unique ‘solar bay panoramic glass roof’ option that allows for four levels of transparency adjustment, providing an open feeling when inside the vehicle.

Meanwhile, the Renault Scenic E-Tech Electric was named ‘Car of the Year 2024’ at the Geneva International Motor Show, and it was unveiled during Renault’s brand strategy presentation in April, revealing plans for its domestic launch in 2025.

‘Artistic Representation of the Renault 5 E-TECH Electric’

At the Renault Korea booth during the Busan Mobility Show, visitors can also explore ‘R5 Resin Art’, an artistic representation of the ‘Renault 5 E-Tech Electric’. R5 Resin Art is a modern reinterpretation honoring the distinctive style of the Renault 5 model.

The Renault 5 E-Tech Electric showcases Renault’s competitive edge in developing compact electric vehicles. It reinterprets Renault’s iconic model, the ‘Renault 5’, which enjoyed a sales success of approximately 5.5 million units from the 1970s to the 1990s.

The Renault 5 E-Tech Electric is a forward-looking reinterpretation of the Renault 5 heritage. It features the first application of the dedicated B-segment electric vehicle platform ‘AmpR Small’, embodying Renault’s philosophy of driving automotive innovation. It maintains traditions while also showcasing modern and trendy design. Since its introduction at the 2024 Geneva Motor Show, it has attracted significant attention as a symbol of Renault’s brand strategy ‘Electro Pop’, which aims to harmonize French sensibilities with cutting-edge technology.
