LG Uplus Enhances Theme Park Discounts for Family Month with U+Plus

In celebration of Family Month, LG Uplus is enhancing the theme park discount benefits of its monthly regular benefits program, ‘U+Plus’.

‘U+Plus’ is a benefits program launched in April to enhance digital customer experience, offering various discount coupons from brands that cater to the tastes of the MZ generation on specific days each month. Customers can access the integrated benefits platform ‘U+ Membership’ on designated dates, download the discount coupons available only that day, and use them until the end of the month.

The high discount rates of U+Plus, the variety of partnering brands, and the unique way of accessing the platform to download coupons have gained popularity among MZ generation customers, recording 300,000 participants in the first month of the launch.

For May, in honor of Family Month, discounts on theme parks that families can enjoy together have been enhanced. Customers can access the U+ Membership app to download discount coupons for Lotte World Adventure (Seoul and Busan) and the Aquarium on the 9th, LEGOLAND on the 15th, Daegu E-World on the 16th, and Seoul Land on the 23rd, using them until the end of May.

In particular, on Teacher’s Day, the 15th, a variety of discounts have been prepared, including discounts at LEGOLAND, as well as up to 35% off at Tous Les Jours and up to 55% off at Pizza Hut (with a free soda included). Furthermore, LG Uplus offers new partnering discount benefits, including up to 20% off at Innisfree (7th), up to 70% off at Dunkin’ (14th), and free popcorn and soda at Megabox (23rd).

Meanwhile, LG Uplus is running an event to promote the U+Plus promotion by offering various prizes. First, by solving three emoji quizzes on the U+ Membership app event page and entering the draw, participants can win AirPods Max (1 winner), tickets for the Playmobil Yeonhee-dong Popup Store (50 winners), and Dunkin’ Americano coupons (200 winners).

Customers who discover or experience U+ Membership benefits in daily life and post their experiences on social media with hashtags (#U+Plus #UplusMembership, #UplusMembershipBenefits, #U+PlusChallenge) will receive a 1,000 KRW coupon for Daiso. Among the SNS post entrants, a lucky draw will determine winners for invitations to the filming site of ‘Tiny Desk Korea’ featuring ‘Lee Moo-jin’ (25 winners), and tickets for Lotte Cinema (50 winners), and Baskin-Robbins quarter exchange vouchers (200 winners).

Tiny Desk Korea is the music content produced by LG Uplus’s specialized studio X+U (STUDIO X+U), which is the Korean version of the famous ‘Tiny Desk Concert’ produced by the American public radio broadcaster NPR Music. Each episode features a new musician performing live in an intimate and simple setting.

U+ customers who wish to use U+Plus benefits can download the ‘U+ Membership’ or ‘Your U+’ apps from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store. The SNS certification event is open to anyone who downloads and signs up for the U+ Membership app, regardless of their mobile carrier.
