Renault Korea’s Bold Move: Sales Advisors to Elevate Customer Experience Ahead of New Launches

Renault Korea has announced a significant update as part of its brand transformation, changing the official title of its sales staff to Sales Advisors, and is publicly recruiting for these positions until May 17th in preparation for new vehicle launches in the second half of the year.

Following its new brand strategy announcement in April, which included changing the company emblem to the diamond-shaped ‘Lozangju’, Renault Korea has also revised the official title of its sales staff to ‘Sales Advisors’ across all nationwide showrooms. Moreover, to cultivate a more professional yet friendly image in customers’ minds, changes to their attire are planned.

The renaming of the sales staff at Renault Korea aims to broaden the scope of their sales operations. The Renault Korea Sales Advisors will not only engage in traditional new car sales but will also be equipped to sell the diverse ‘The Original’ products of the Renault brand. Furthermore, the development of Renault Korea’s used car business, currently under review, is also expected to fall under the Sales Advisors’ domain in the future.

As part of their preparations for new vehicle launches in the latter half of the year, Renault Korea will bolster its Sales Advisors team. Anyone interested in applying for a position as a Sales Advisor at Renault Korea can submit their application online through the official website by the 17th, regardless of age, gender, education, or experience.

Executive Director Hwang Jae-seop of Renault Korea’s Sales and Network Division stated, “In preparation for the launch of a new mid-size SUV, which will be unveiled next month at the Busan Mobility Show, we plan to conduct a large-scale recruitment for new Sales Advisors who will help Renault Korea’s resurgence. We are committed to supporting our Sales Advisors to learn and perform their sales duties in an excellent environment alongside our dealer agents.”

Moreover, Renault Korea is often referred to as a ‘sales officer academy’ in the automotive industry, thanks to a systematic sales training program built since its founding. Through continuous online education and in-person training, they provide essential knowledge related to general automotive understanding, Renault Korea product information, and sales expertise to help new hires without prior automotive sales experience grow into professionals.
